Hello! Thank you for sharing this, looking forward to making one for grandma (and maybe start a business? hmm). Gotta move and use my skills that I learned as a Mechanical Engineering student.
This is awesome. I’ve been eyeing up these chairs for a while. I want to clone the dining chair made by the same company. What did you use to get the 3-axis welds (back bars) square? I also realized the issue of having to slip the fabric strips over the bars before fully welding them!
Hi Matt, currently making this chair right now! Have the frame welded and we're about to make the straps. I may have missed it but how long were they? Thanks!
It's a lovely chair and you've made the sowing seem pretty easy for a beginner :) - Can you please share how heavy is the chair, using these measurements?
😏There is something about a man working a sewing machine and welding pipe....it takes me there 😉🤣🤣 I am a new subbie😝 Love your design! You have inspired a set of bamboo porch chairs and a set of living room black pipe chairs! TFS
I saw a similar chair selling online for over $2,000. That’s where I got the idea to try and make one similar for fun. I won’t be selling it for $2,000.
Oh my god! This really suits my minilimasltic industrial look type of home that i always wanted! Such a unique style, very simple but elegant! Looks luxurious to me! Thank you so much!!!!! More than words! Its 12 md in my country and im triggered af to run somewhere and find those materials and start welding in the middle of the night 😭
God bless you! This has been a dream piece of mine for the longest 🤍🤍

I've been looking for this.i saw this on Pinterest. Finally!
Good deal! Glad you found us! Hope you enjoy.
me too
Thank you for this video! I’m very inspired to do this. If I can’t weld, I might instead use thin plumbing pipes with angle joinery for a similar look
Yeah, that would work! Best of luck on your build.
Beautiful chair!
Thank you. Appreciate that very much.
Bravo!
Thank you! 😉
This is definitely insta looking chair. Trendy
Thank you! Appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed it. Take care

Aaron, I used the 90 degree magnets used when welding. Just used several on each 90* corner.
@@PerspectiveDesignCo thanks!!
Thank u very much..ive been trying to figure out how to make something similar
Thank you so much !!
You bet! Thanks for watching.
Please do other metal chairs from pinterest.thanks man

How long did you end up doing your straps?
If I recall correctly the straps were approx 52 inches.

Thanks. The sewing wasn’t bad honestly. The chair is not heavy at all. The cushion is probably heavier than the metal frame!
good job bro
this is so incredible! wondering if you would do anything differently a second time around?
No. Not really. The chairs held up fine since making it!! We have been enjoying it in our shop!

What was your process to calculate $2000 for that chair?
I saw a similar chair selling online for over $2,000. That’s where I got the idea to try and make one similar for fun. I won’t be selling it for $2,000.
Do you think I could do this with a wooden frame instead?
I don’t see why not. Maybe using a mitered joint in the corners for a little more stability vs just a butt joint. Good luck!
0.5inche iron bar means 12 millimeters or 14 millimeters thickness ?😊
The wire welder doesn't use Co2?

Haha. That’s awesome. Glad you like it. Go knock it out. You can do it!! Thanks for the comment.
I know its been awhile since you did this video, but what is the length of the webbing support.
Sorry, I don’t remember. I’ll try and measure and update.
How STABLE is this???
Yep, it’s actually surprisingly stable.
