These old machines held up well as far as there capabilities were concerned. I've owned some old lake racers that can't do shit off trail. The phazer was quick for it's day and light for Today!
I gotta ask how did you build the custom foot boards on your blue phazer. I can't figure out how to attach the to the frame somehow because i feel like if I attach it to the tunnel, it'll be to flimsy. Also what size of lift on handles and what did you have to extend? Thanks
hey man I'm in the process of trying to make my 340 lynx look more mountain sledy if u know what I mean it has a 500 engine swap already and it runs whats some stuff I could do to make it more lighter and more mountain sled then travelish type skidoo
Yeah, these were the first ones we did a few years ago. 136x1.5 track. Taller bars. Extended skid and tunnel. That's really about it though. All stock otherwise.

Sweet I have a 1986 Yamaha phazer 480 and were going to try to put a 136x1.5 track on it and new handle bars as well

Yeah attached to the tunnel, and made custom rear suspension Mounts for the running boards to sit on for added strength.
My phaser has a 2 inch lug track on it
No flex
How did you extend the tunnel?? and whats the name of those tracks. And one last thing... are the suspension stock???
Sheet aluminum, don't know the name of the tracks. Just some used 136x1.5 from haydays. Stock suspension
