I also serviced stage RGBW led reflectors, unfortunately the power led chips were badly damaged due to poor cooling, your invention would have come in handy there.

They insulated the screw with a piece of electric wire insulation. A popsicle stick and hot glue would have worked instead. However it seems like they wanted this to last longer than a child's toy made in Taiwan. LOL 🤣 😆
