While I didn’t go through the same thing, I was pregnant and homeless when I discovered this song. At that time I was alone during covid and my mom and gma had passed in 2015 and 2016 respectively. I love this song so much!! My mother loves this song as well, the other day we were in the car and she randomly started crying bc she thought about this song and she loves this song bc it represents our family perfectly. This song explains my family so well bc my family never lets anything get in our way and we also do our best to succeed in life and also try our best to help each other and others in the world that need help. Some days we have great days and some days we have bad days, but on those bad days we are alright even though we take hard lefts. Everyday really is good bc we have walls built around us to sleep in and our "bones are good", "the paint could peel" put we are alright, "the glass could shatter" but we are alright", things "don't always go the way we planned", but not everything is supposed to work out the way we want it too, but as long as we have each other then we WILL be alright. But "when the bones are good, the rest don't matter".But when we were on the way home in the car we listened to this song over and over for the rest of the 30min ride. And I enjoyed listening too this song over and over bc it made me realize my bones is my family and friends, and as long as I have my family and friends then the rest don't matter.
