I learned hakka bak mei from kong mien ho in Surinam who now still teach in Amsterdam.. Every time I watch this video I see something I missed before. Well a lineage from bak mee itself that deserve a lot of attencion..the last set mang fu tsoet lim it would be interesting to see whit exploinating it sames that the last set is most compact.
For those wondering, Sifu Cheng 鄭偉儒 in this video is direct Bak Mei lineage tracing back to 白眉上人 (Bai Mei) himself. 白眉上人-->張禮泉 --> 張炳發 (one of 張禮泉's 3 sons).
@@royrogers4497 lol 白眉上人 is totally fictional character, but 林耀桂 is not. You can see the similarity between the two and is clear 張禮泉 learnt it from 林耀桂, maybe not 林耀桂 himself but his sifu
@@MasterofPlay7 Yes that's true Great Grand Master 張禮泉 did learn Dragon Style from 林耀桂's sifu, also a few other styles from other Masters like Lee Gar and Lau Man Gau styles. Until one day he met a Monk Named Leen Sung, witnessing his Pak Mei Kung Fu on Action kicking 20 or more people's ass in front of everyone, he was surprised by such skill. Then Great Grandmaster 張禮泉 decides to test out the Monk's Skill himself, unfortunately was defeated by the Monk's Pak Mei Kung Fu. Later he wants to learn and prefect the skills that the Monk has, then decides to follow him into the Southern Shaolin Temple to meet the Monk Leen Sung's Sifu, Zhook Faat Wan Monk A.K.A 張禮泉's Master. After 6 years of dedication in training he has finally understand the true ways in Martial Arts, he then merged the previous 3 Styles of his Arsenals together and created a Form "Say Moon Pak Quar" .張禮泉 then met up with 林耀桂 to continue their journey in the Martial World, until the Japanese Army attack they then both became instructors in the Da Dao Military Force and created a Big Sword form for the soldiers to practice in order to counter against the opposing Japanese Army's Katana and Gun Knives . I'm sure that 張禮泉 himself specifically prefers the use of Pak Mei skills due to that's one of his most powerful arsenals in Martial Arts.
He actually had four sons - but the youngest one didn't learn Bai Mei from his father. Only mentioning so as to not ignore or disrespect the fact that a fourth son does exist.
Nice, as a hakka from Suriname, I see there are some similarity in each punch and step that reminds me of a san sao techniques found in Chu Gar Gao. And sub please, I don't understand a thing you said
