I am working in a new lab and nobody knows anything lol how can I find out the required minimum amount of QC and calibrator needed? I noticed the Access doesn't tell you like the AU.
Use the 400 series racks to perform maintenance and immunoassay control (2mL, or until the first graduation on the cuvette) *MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE RIGHT CUVETTES AS THE 2500 series cuvettes are NOT Army proof (idiot proof)* For calibration (calibrators), samples, and QC use the 2500 series rack and only use 0.5mL. Although the product rep revealed to me that 3-4 drops of the calibrator work just as well. She said this bc they are expensive.
So we have a new machine which is Access 2 immunoassay and Au 480? But for access 2 just wanna see how to change probes 2,4,6 weekly and how to clean dispense probes daily. Im a bit intimidated when it comes to changing probes thank you so much
