I think that maybe... instead of post-production special effects... Get a giant cloth and a projector.
That way, it actually matters to the people there and watching.

nunyourbusiness defs not lighting effects, a lot of post-production effects. But to be fair the projectors and lx equipment needed to pull off effects like those are hella expensive 😅

Rachael Ewins yea now that I watch it again it’s def not lighting but this is done by the Disney on ice crew in there spare time between rehearsals so I’m pretty sure they have whatever fancy lights your talking about :)

nunyourbusiness some Disney productions do have the tech that can create effects similar to the post production effects in this video, combo of lighting, a lot of projectors and a high tech tracking system. But judging on this video I’d say this show didn’t have this tech at the time. (But it’s still a super-impressive little show they pulled together, speaking from experience these shows have very little down time)
