- It's been a process. But once you put in the work, Sonic CD shows what Sonic and the SEGA CD was truly capable of. Review of Sonic CD as played off the Sonic Origins Collection.

The soundtrack for both versions JP and NA are fantastic
They hit like a sonic boom!
Yeah I just wanted to hear the Song 😊.
I find it very interesting that as time goes on we start appreciating the little nuances of games that use to bug us.
While I’ve not played Sonic CD myself, I can appreciate some of the design choices (like time periods or 3D), it’s interesting to see that all these years later, there are still games out there that surprise us with their creativity.
It’s a great relic of Sonic history and I’m glad that you spent some time to showcase it.
Came for the song, stayed for the Majora T interpretation :P
CD is really novel for its time. It doesn't totally translate (imo) into a smooth experience but it's cool to see the team try to push the boundaries.
Glad to see you've opened your heart to CD!
Open my heaartt!
still one of the best intros to a sonic game.
i always liked it but it was not my number 1 favourite for the classic era. the time gimmick is cool but some of the post placements make it pretty tough sometimes and as much as i love the music to wacky work bench. the stage layout really is wack lol i agree about the bonus stages are some of my favourites in the series
A Sonic game and maybe video game period.
If I've met anyone who said CD was their favorite, I have no recollection. For most people, it's 2 or 3. CD is interesting but a bit of a commitment.
Go go bonus stages!
