Very true indeed. This design just proves that this type of aircraft need not be complicated to build. The design was the most difficult part. 4 flying instructors have commented how well built it is.

Plans were drawn on the floor to get geometry. And it is very simple as I doesn't need to be complicated and to keep it under the 70kg category. Alloy and bolts are all aircraft grade.

Light but solid construction.
In my opinion there would be too much to change to make it a viable proposition, although I have seen a trike base which is suitable for both trike wing and PPG. Geometry is the factor to consider when building a base as Rake angles differ from wings .

Ciao Luca. Grazie per i complimenti. Frame is T6 6061 at 2.5mm thickness. Plate attachment for hang block is 6mm each and all gusset plates are 4mm high tensile 7075 plate.

I dont have a manual as such. Too many components to draw up and describe.

Weight with wing and 7 litres of fuel is just on 70kg.

What’s going on with the struts behind the seat? They resemble lifting struts.
Backrest for seat and restraint for fuel tank.

Your trike being light and simple (few parts) looks strong and very well thought trough - one of the best nano-trikes I have seen so far if one goes for a 'keep-it-relatively-simple' concept. Excellent !

By the way could you tell me the colour code of the fine green paint you have used (e.g. RAL code or car paint code) ?
One small feed-back:
Suggest you don't use paper based fuel filter but Nylon (PA6 or PA66) based filter (size: 100 micron = 0.1mm = 'Mesh 140') - pluss a separate extra filter in the tank of size 0.3 mm.
Most two stoke manufacturers warn against using paper based fuel filters (especially if you use car gasoline (E5) which now adays contain up to 5% alcohol = ethanol).
I can see that the THOR 130 EVO Maintenance Manuals maintenance schedule does not mention cleaning or replacement of the fuel oil filter - which is very strange as Polini are very experienced and skilled engine manufactureres.
(Also cleaning of the carburettor at certain intervals is not mentioned either).
Otherwise you will sooner or later experience engine out during flight - which is not very nice ;-)
Also it is good practice to let the fuel line run downwards all the way from the carburettor down to the fuel tank (no high points/bends where water or fuel wapor can be trapped).
Thanks for your inputs. The video was taken from an early stage of engine replacement hence the temporary filter and fuel line placements. Tank filter was always there as well. Have done a few modifications since including changing to a foot throttle rather than hand operated one.
Building the trikes was fairly straight forward . Design was the most difficult bit.

Yes. Its split in 2 so removable from keel.
How long do you fly on a full tank??
Easily get just over 3 hours of flying at cruise.

Depends where you want the base bar to be. Usually chest height. Also need to allow for prop clearance on rear flying wires.

I'm not sure I can help. Geometry and structure is different for both machines .

I built 2 if them. I have a few videos on my channel if you wish to reference them . The plans are were drawn for a specific wing as upright lengths and rakes of A frame will vary from different manufacturers and glider models .

Excellent build -- as Jim Carrey would say "B.E.A.utiful". Very nicely done -- that tiny fuel mirror is a nice cheep hands free visual fuel gauge.
The slant you put on the front wheel is another good build feature to help the wheel self track straight but I was also thinking of adding a spring as well.
The Triangular cable bracing for the rear wheel struts is something to look at for me, I have already purchased some fiberglass struts for a a PPG Trike I was going to build and was thinking of adding some cables for that.
I have my PPG motor - PAP125 so a wing like the size of your 190 is going to be need for better lift. In fact Im now think of build a trike that will accountable both wings if I decide not to sell my PPG wing.
I had to look up "VG" - variable glide system -- cant seem to find any vids on how that works -- Have you tried it??

Variable geometry. Pulls back the crossbar and stiffens the wing giving you better performance at the the cost of reduced handling. Have used it a few times but only in ideal conditions.
I believe there is a ppg / nanolight trike frame out there but haven't come across one myself. Would be more than interested to see what you can come up with if you pursue it.
The mirror is very useful and have borrowed the idea from ppg .
Both trikes fold up for transport where engine and seat are removed in minutes. I always fly with my son so we have an 8x6 trailer that is ample to carry both.

I assume you mean a motorbike engine. ? I believe there are many using them as long as they are used with proper and correct reduction gear.
You be better using a 250cc from something like the Honda twister.More power.

If it’s cost you 7000 to make why you didn’t get one for 3000????
$3000 doesn't even cover the cost of the engine. I would struggle to find a new trike for $3000.
