How to Make Fluffy Slime for Kids

MATERIALS:
•3/4 cup glue (white or clear school glue works great!)
•1/4 cup water
•1/2 teaspoon baking soda
•Food coloring or liquid watercolor
•3 cups shaving cream (make sure to get the foam kind, not the gel)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix 1/2 teaspoon borax into a cup of water to create a borax solution.
2. Pour glue into a large bowl. Stir in the water and baking soda.
3. Mix in a few drops of food coloring to create your desired color (it will lighten with the addition of the shaving cream)
4. Add shaving cream to the bowl and stir
5. Finally, add 2 tablespoons of the borax solution to the slime mixture. Stir until the slime pulls away from the side of the bowl and creates a cohesive ball. Add a bit more borax solution if it's too sticky.
6. Remove from bowl; knead with your hands.
7. Once you're done playing, store your fluffy slime in an airtight container for next time!
