Forza Horizon 5, Benchmark Causes Crash to Desktop - Mar 1, 2023

This is for Forza support, who wants a video of something that should be easily reproducible, since I get this exact behavior on multiple PCs after the latest update. Even more damning, I was able to successfully run the built-in benchmark by copying old Steam files from a different PC - so the game is not updated but Steam things it is. So, yes, this is a new bug and thankfully I have a workaround because it will probably be a week or more before it gets fixed.
Note that I set the desktop resolution to 1080p, but apparently this still captured at 4K and left some artifacts. Just ignore those, please, as they don't exist in actual use. It's just from the video capture.
