  • In this video I show how I prepare a pork tenderloin for smoking, prepare a basting sauce and show you how I personally light the Old Country Bbq Pit Gravity Smoker. I also give you a quick impression of the (inkbird ibt-26s) temperature probe.

    I just bought my gravity feed old country and I love it Once you get it started it will set and stay on temperature very well I had to shop around to find it at Academy There were 2 left in the metroplex when I found it

      I used 1/8 plate and cut pieces the same size as the existing tubing and welded it to it

      @@NF-is4dr I pretty much use a controller all the time. So as far as the way the pit runs I can’t tell that much difference. I mainly did it to get the smoke up higher than face level and for looks.

      @GrillinwithRed Gotcha. Might not be worth doing for me than. I'm planning on using a controller also. I get the pit this weekend. So pretty excited. Do you have a video of you doing brisket?

      @@NF-is4dr I have not done a brisket on this pit yet. I will be doing one soon though
