Hi dear. The emotions you feel are very normal. Just remember work does stop where you’re at. Do you think you won’t run into amazing people and coworkers again? Bc that’s not the case. You attract who you are. Keep being a baddie & remember this happens and it’s very normal.

Kandy, I kinda how you feel. Worked at a small company which felt like family. We started in a garage & had same 10 employees over 17 years. & became a successful small business. Owner sold company & I was lost.

I found myself very fatigued and seem like my body ached and etc etc.. had blood work done and my vitamin D level was in a single digit, i was like 😮.. prayers for healing.... You got this girl!!

So sorry to hear the news about your job. Maybe this can be the opportunity to get a job closer to where you live as you have quite a journey to get to your current job. If you could find somewhere closer to your home, just think how much time you could save on the commute. More free time for you to enjoy. Good luck with it all x
I agree! The thought of driving 2-3 hours per day DRIVING, would drive me nuts! Kandy and I live in the same area, and I know the exact drive she has--and...it's a lot! I'd rather see her have that TIME for OTHER THINGS...and be more confident that she has THE TALENT to choose a job that REALLY suits her, in location and career path and salary and ALLLLL the things!
Maybe it feels like rejection to her, I could see that, but I say.....SHE DESERVES BETTER!

Oh, Kandy, I totally get this and I know what you're going through. I lost my job, which I loved, back in November and I've been struggling to find a new one. I really do feel unmoored right now, because my job gave me a sense of purpose and routine. This past Christmas was not a good one, to put it mildly. However, I am persevering and I know that I will find the right job. You will, too! Cody is so supportive and loving and is really there for you. Things will get better and you know we are all with you!!
I hope things have gotten more secure for you! It's a great choice--to persevere! Your career-- providing a sense of purpose for you, is AWESOME to hear! That outlook typically leads to being a great employee, one that considers their job MORE than just a job, and maybe even the idea that we never "work" a day in our life, if we love what we do! THAT is very true--about the doors! I have literally ALWAYS come out way, way ahead, once THAT door closed. Whether I closed it, or someone else...it's always led me to a MUCH better door! Fear of the unknown is definitely a THING, BUT! I like to turn that idea around and make it like....the unknown is like a surprise gift for me!!! 👍🏽

I didn’t know u lived in Longview I’ve been watching j forever anyway my oldest dtr lived in Longview she’s a nurse practitioner at peace health she works with pts for headaches seizures dementia thst kind of things -they had alot of snow-Longviews community is so friendly from the grocery workers to the school bus drivers just lovely people and now I kind of know u ❤️
Job stuff is always a mess, especially being in limbo. Maybe this will give you the opportunity to be closer to home... Sounds like they were nice enough to tell you ahead of time and give you some time to really evaluate your options. Best of luck!

I've also had the worse UTI in my life. Started after kidney stones, two for Christmas! I was on the meds and then had to repeat them again for ten days. It's exhausting being sick when you're already sick. I've had lupus for years, anything on top of that is too much. I hope they figure out what's going on with your digestive issues. Do they have you on a daily B12? Def helps a little with energy.

I know how you feel about your job. This time last year I was laid off, I had 1 choice. Either go back to my position that I was promoted from which means they were going to fire someone in order to keep me. I could not do that to my co worker, so I got laid off. I wasnt sure where Id be months down the road. I loved that job and I thought it would be hard starting over at a new job. But the job I have now I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I took a chance and ended up at a even better place. You have every right to be upset and sad. Especially during the holidays. I agree with Cody, Im happy you shared your feelings with us. Really missed your smiling face, sorry to hear about the job situ, I feel yah. I had to leave 2-3 jobs I loved because the company closed, it sucks, but with your personality, you should do well. Not many people like customer service, so if you like it, there ARE customer svc jobs in the government & even REMOTE jobs where you can work from home, handling customers. It pays well & has great benefits and once you're in there is room for growth & raises. Look into state and federal. Smooches to the cats!
