When I worked in trucking, I lived in my car. On cold nights the rain warmed me. I don't know how many times I've heard the soothing sound of rain in the car. I didn't realize I'd miss it. Now I listen in my bed with my wife. Helps you sleep, reminds you of hard times, makes you appreciate the good times. With love to everyone who listens to this noise.

I use to fall asleep to this sound when I was homeless living out of my van. I had nowhere to go. The rain hitting the car was very soothing for me, on a strange level. I thought I was confined and hopeless. I'm still working hard to achieve financial stability. I will fall asleep to this tonight, in my bed, as a reminder of where I was one year ago.

Used to have a old wall unit in my parents bedroom. I remember at nights when it would storm bad I would stay with my mom while my dad was out of town. We’d get snacks and sit and listen to the rain hit that old a/c in between storms over the police scanner or whatever was on tv at the time. Looking back on it I didn’t have much as a kid but I had more than I ever could’ve asked for all at the same time. Those are precious memories

Car rides were a nightmare as a kid for me. I get carsick, my parents would argue, my brother would scream. But on long drives, when night fell, and we were driving through areas with heavy rain or even thunder storms, every one would calm down. My brother would fall asleep, my parents would stop fighting, and everything was just....right in the world. The hum of the engine, the slight rumble of tires over the road, soft music crackling over the radio on low, heat from the floor vents wafting back under the front seats and rising up around me. And the soft pelting of rain on the roof and windows. If I had a heaven, it would be those moments just before slumber on trips like that where everyone was calm, stretched on for eternity.

I absolutely love this! I put my phone on my desk in front of my window and it really sounds like it is not a car but that it really is raining right outside my window! I am delighted and can't even express my gratitude! And I do love the kind comments. They also I'm help me relax!

I always feel so sad due to events in my life, but for some reason i rarely cry.
When i come to these videos, those sad feelings come back, but different. Like im releasing them after holding them for so long, or indulging in them like a good cry.
Its almost like each raindrop is a tear shed for me, siphoning out the stress and anxiety, bit by bit.
I am forever grateful for these videos. Always helpful.
