Point 1 suggests is to make your own analysis on the various funds rather than going by the star rating .. now this is real strange .. making own analysis of a fund is a complete world of expertise in itself..
Reason 4 given here is actually bad. You never redeem your equity investments regularly, completely defeats the purpose of compounding. Rather, the SIP or Lumpsum of 60:40 (if you want to maintain this) should be followed. Again, the returns are there to compound.

Mam, in your example of over diversification and return dilution . You told less returns will be there. What if 1 mutual fund performs bad? Then loss will be also less in portfolio having many mutual funds compared to portfolio having only 5 mutual funds as bad performing mutual fund would have more Corpus in this portfolio. 3:50
Hi Ashish, Portfolio Rebalancing is the process of realigning the weights of a portfolio of assets if you are unfamiliar with it. It entails regularly purchasing and selling assets in a portfolio to preserve the original or intended level of asset allocations and risks. If small cap is the best Muttual fund giving return in 3 years i.e 20.09%, then isn't FD the better option? Explanation: FD's annual return is 7.5% which is compounded quaterly, which results to 25% in 3 years. Eg. 1 Lakh in FD for 3 years will give you 1.25L (in IDFC Bank, 7.5%). Please let me know if I am wrong.

Hi, SIP or Systematic Investment Plan is simply an investment option where money is invested in a scheme periodically over time, at pre-decided intervals (such as a month or quarter), without interruption. Currently, we have only a monthly SIP option if we come up with more options we will notify you. Thank you
hi, i have to ask you somthing about switching regular plan to direct plan. if i switch my regular plan to direct plan so how could i stop my regular plan's SIP? please reply neend answer agar koi aur bata sakta hai toh please suggest kare
Just go to your mutual fund portfolio and stop your SIP in regular fund. If still not possible contact the fuund house. Then to switch from regular to direct, just redeem all your units from regular fund and reinvest in the corresponding direct fund, simple..
why should we go for debt plans if our risk profile is very high..... i think in a growing economy like india we can invest maximum investment in equity if our risk tolerance is very high

You want more diversification
Then go with index fund because low expense ratio

bro 20.09 is annual return of small cap
@@shivamsingla9046 She said 3 years return in those mutual funds. Not annual. Also 60% returns in 3 years is impossible.
20-25 percent CAGR return of small cap can turn your corpus double in 3 years
20.09% is mutual fund returns annualised. Net absolute returns = ~ 20*3 = 60%
MF is far superior than any FD

If it's a regular plan, then you must be investing via a demat account(broker). You can stop SIP through your broker.
Just go to your mutual fund portfolio and stop your SIP in regular fund. If still not possible contact the fuund house. Then to switch from regular to direct, just redeem all your units from regular fund and reinvest in the corresponding direct fund, simple..
