7/7! Yay!! I've been watching your videos, listening to your podcast and also learning on Duolingo. I started watching Il Processo on Netflix and I was able to understand enough words to figure out what they were saying. It's awesome! You're an amazing teacher 😀
Manu, thanks for your great teachings. You’re awesome. I got a 6/7 on this one because I put ‘gli’ for the last one…and I totally understand why. Thanks!!!
Happy days, got them all. Thank you Manu. Really enjoying this challenge. Downloaded a cool app for the vocabulary. QVC is pretty useful too ( but all over my head as expected - but maybe someday. Sadly, don't get the opportunity as much to do the immersion as I do to dip in and out of the phone app). 😊
@@italymadeeasy Cioa, Signore Venditti. Is it possible to have those accent marks in a person's name (As to say, if it is done in Italia). I am considering doing this for my 1st born child.
@Renzo Benedetti I have been searchin for the last few hour cannot find any italian ames with accent marks in them and I do not know if such exit. I am considering giving my child such a name with accent marks but I do not know, 1. If it is common, 2. Possible, and 3. General significance in the long term. Benedetti.
This is an example of how these lessons have helped me in my research. In an "Atti di Morte" which begins as follows: "L'anno del Signore mille ottocento quarant'uno ed alli dieci del mese di dicembre nella Parrocchia di San Lorenzo Comune di Pertusio è stata fatta la seguente dichiarazione di decesso." I know that it translates to "The year of the Lord 1841 and on the 10th of the month of December in the Parish of San Lorenzo Comune of Pertusio, made the following declaration of death." But now I can dive deeper with the words in reference to this lesson for example: l'anno; il Signore; i dieci; il mese; la Parrocchia; la seguente dichiarazione. This last one pertaining also to the lesson about adjectives preceding the noun. So, it could also have been written "la dichiarazione seguente." I would presume they were emphasizing this IS the declaration of death. Like "This IS the official record of death." I would also add that pertaining to the words I mentioned I can now go further. Singular words to plural: gli anni; i Signori; i mesi; le Parrocchie; le seguenti dichiarazioni. And even one plural to singular: gli atti > l'atto. If I have something incorrect please let me know. I would like to understand it all correctly. Grazie.

@@sexymanicou3403 I'm curious about your question but I didn't get it. Can you re-phrase it? thanks
@@sexymanicou3403 Do you mean whether there exist Italian names with accent marks in them? Like Nicolò or Mosè (which would be Moses)?
