This is how all documentaries should be made
Oh course the bottle is super flamboyant
Annoying
Tell that to the major corporations that own America and create over 70% of our pollution. But we aren't ready to talk about that, are we?
We have the power to get together as one and fight for our only place of living; Earth! we need to stop buying in that way we hit big corporations in their pockets. We have control the question is: Will people actually listen and do it?
You mean the ones producing goods in China and India?
Isnt this... A major point in the video tho
@@sketchthis4711 it is!!!!
Mushrooms eat PLASTIC/CIGARETTE BUTTS/OIL SPILLS and produce food as bonus. No one I know talks about it enough, these specific strengths combined with human knowledge should be an easy solve right? Not at all, not unless people get interested and put in work to create solutions. We all have a vested interest in keeping our home though.
I get your fun fact and that could be to some use but definitely not the secret formula to solving the earth’s problem
@@somyamirville4918 what do you think the Earth's biggest problem is though, from a nature preservation standpoint, not a human one? personally it looks like climate change...plastics are playing a huge role in that and us humans are the sole reason. I'm not saying I can fix anything. I'm saying WE can make our home last longer, bit by bit, person by person.
Uh, fungus doesn't really wanna eat that shit. You might be confusing that with some recent headlines about a specific kind of silkworm that can eat plastic and also some plastic eating bacteria.
Very high priority areas of study, could end up being huge if we can identify the process they use and industrialize it
@@Ryukachoo He's probably referring to that TED talk with Paul Stamets where he describes a mushroom that "ate" an oil spill. It's a pretty interesting talk.
@@somyamirville4918 hggshagdkagskfgksfgmVvzCCxmXsdhgaggg
I read there were 5 episodes but only found this one. Anyone know where the others are?
maybe you mean this, search "100 awesome minutes to help fix the planet"
that one plastic bottle: I've seen everything
I want to be hopeful... I do everything I can to promote and purchase natural and sustainable products. But this problem seems insurmountable 🥺
Why do you think it's insurmountable? I think it's totally surmountable. Human life existed without ANY plastics not to long ago relatively speaking. We as a species are smarter and more resourceful than we were at the time of inventions of plastics. And we're only going to get smarter, resourceful, and creative as time passes. Therefore I'm so confident we can shift the way we live in the world in a way where we overcome our current "needs" and uses for plastics to materials and products that are much more planet friendly. Plus the biggest reason plastics are so omnipresent in this day and age in my opinion - because it's not part of the worlds culture to care about the health of the planet that much and that current generations are just used to having plastics in their lives. While it's not realistic to chance the lifestyles and preferences of every human in a single generation, change over time, over generations, is totally doable.
The weirdest video in the
Googles trillions could pay for it all
This feels like an acid trip.
Great piece, A+. Save Earth
It was so sad when the plastics were having an existential crises but 3:54 was sooo funny lol
holy shit huge props to the creators of this. is it not only done well but also such a creative, impressive and beautiful piece of cinematic work
Those 700 people who disliked probably dont even like their life what haters all they think is negative.
This is so good! Love how they make such an important topic more accessible. Show us the doom and gloom of plastic, get us scared and sad, but also talk about it in a fun and goofy way and then show us new solutions and innovations. HOPE! Every adult, child, and adult child should see this.
Read the Georgia Guidestones. The “long-term sustainable solutions” aren’t going to be favored by either side of the aisle.

@@HeavyHeartsShow What do you mean?
This was brilliant!! Just brilliant.
That is what we really should give a shit about it 🌍💚💙
We need to pay attention to this message … our oceans are a precious asset to our planet
Including sharks no matter how we feel about them, they keep the ocean steady.
I feed my animals bits of plastic to build up their immunity to bigger plastics
WHAT
Are you serious 😂
What’s sad is even after all the cleanup there still will be alot of plastic
I just realized they have little kids cursing :/
Was in FLL as a middle schooler, and one year the challenge was to produce a solution to the growing recycling issue. My team did research on mushroom enzymes which break down plastic into alcohols and water, and we designed chambers for this enzyme production and plastic breakdown. We worked with a Yale student researcher that had been studying the mushroom. The judges told us our idea wasn’t practical because we wouldn’t be able to sway large companies into investing in the idea. Very sobering for a 12 year old haha
Dear earth, Please give us 200 more years to fix our pollution and start supporting the eviroment.
that one bottle stayed for so long compared to the others
That’s what you got from all of this bruh
Every humans in this earth, remember we just have one home. Now we can do is take care and save us mother earth.🌍🌎🌏
#TeamSeas #Signals
Just reminding you. Team seas is not the best investment when trying to rid the ocean of waste and team seas will have a very miniscule effect.
The little fight scene was so dumb, but I loved it. It was a nice dumb that made me tingle inside lmao. Amazing
And I’m starting to clean up my town beach
I legit thought the world was ending when i saw the thumbnail
I'm glad you made it clear this is a corporate responsibility instead of just a personal one to many videos out there putting it all on us when the Corps are the ones making most of the waste.
Im from a small town where everybody knows everybody mostly by last names, and when prices hit town and nobody was able to buy the only thing left for all of us was to stop buying that special product that went up, eggs, meat, tortillas was mainly the case. But everybody had to be in the same page and they all did, and prices went down magically 🙌
Is not rocket science is common sense ppl have to come together as one; so that is going to be hard for ppl that dont like ppl
This needs more views
For a second I think Earth is special then I remember alpha centuri is only 4 lights years away.
Everyone gotta educate themselves and support companies that are for the people and the planet
Bretman as the bottle is ICONIC.
comments were turned off on unfuck it so i came here to say how ironic it is that youtubers cant even say the f word with out getting demonitized but yt named it series with the word in it.
0:31 Wrong hole
Fwd: China & India
Exactly
No citizen is remotely as wasteful as the average American. Even today, the average American uses over 6x the resources of the average Chinese citizen, and over 15x the average Indian citizen. Go back 20 years and the disparity was far greater. Go back 50-100 years and the difference was astronomical.
And remember, those countries now create a big percentage of their waste on behalf of U.S. corporations and consumers. So don't use other, more populous countries as an excuse not to conserve and consume less yourselves. Certainly not until you are less wasteful than they are as individuals.
@@carlodave9 I don't think it's America's fault that they don't have an organization for getting rid of their waste. After all, America isn't supposed to be the World Police.

Finally! Congratulations for the series guys, it was super fun to work on the video transitions ;)
Corporation like PepsiCola, Coke was made plastic. It's sufficient to force on them cooperation in recycling proces.
I really love how they put this project together it did a hell of a job
I am Japanese. I am very happy that Japanese UA-camrs are out.

I'm so happy that some people are noticing whats happening more! I was waiting for so long for people to notice and now some people are! :D
This should Be a Ad
So well produced. Engaging, easy to follow, and inspiring!! Thank you for producing this content!!! As a future industrial designer this is so important to see and internalize to make the future a place we want to live. Cheers to the signals team.
I've decided to stop using cling-film for my bread proofing process from now on, I will use a re-usable cover instead. Every little helps !
you probably won't be able to use the re-usable cover enough times to meet the carbon efficiency of using a single sheet of plastic wrap every time (yes im serious) but at least you're trying!!
"Oh God, I've killed so many turtles"
😭😭😭
WE SHALL SAVE THE EARTH
This kind of works, make us more conscious about the nature.
let's hope lots of people share this

Thanks a lot.
I enjoyed it. Thank you.
If only China and India were on the same page as the rest of the world does their part
So is the plastic bottle Brennan Rock 😂😂
Such a nice video. The segment with all these people around the World working hard to move away from plastics was very inspiring.
this was great ;D
Keep up the amazing work!
Let’s keep the earth clean !!!
Amazing video : ) I wish more people cared!
We just don't like the global warming agenda.
I stayed here for at least 4 minutes and I found out that it's a cause that I actually care about ( Ocean crisis).
I agree with destroying plastic
The production is super engaging!! But I feel like it was missing something about reducing our consumption, instead of just replacing plastics with polymers.
Such an amazing 👏 video. Wow.
BLACKPINK
Where's the negative comments youtube
Blinks here reel me how many if you are going to do it
i dont know but im crying because earth is in a really bad situation like a last stage
are you kidding
Do we really need plastic we didn’t have it 50 years ago. I don’t think we did I don’t remember it as a teenager.
Nice virtue signal UA-cam. I'm impressed. Love you keep it. Thanks for teaching us lesson. 🙏
Loved the mother earth fight scene. Took me back to watching power rangers as a kid. Thing is, the special effects aren't cringy or bad in this, it just kinda fits the style.
Even the thumbnail is bad fearmongering
beautiful
This is true that plastic should be handled wisely
We need more views!!!!!
Lets go!

great message, awesome portrayal

AMEN!!! IT IS A CORPORATION PROBLEM!!!
Is is your problem if you buy single use plastics. Greed goes to the money. Your money. We are all the problem.
I just hope we are putting more blame onto the corporations than we do ourselves.
Recycling in the 1950’s was much better than it is today.
Hey UA-cam I have a request for you oh even a question. how to quickly gain subscribers in a legal way?
If you're chasing subs just post 2 million youtube shorts a day and target them at children. If you want to be happy then get off the Internet forever.
Mother Earth I’m sorry
I wish I can donate
Thank you for all the kind messages! This show was a labor of love from artists all over the world - and we're thrilled you're enjoying it. More to come!
