Hi! Came here via a recent Jet Lag episode (Capture the Flag Japan, Ep6) which included a challenge (@ 39:10) to go to a nearby place that had a 100k view UA-cam video of it - so decided to check out this referenced random video as well. And what a treat! Such a sweet video, you all have delightful energy, and I love that you had such a wonderful day at Odawara Castle! Thanks for this small excursion, and extra points to Dash who was indeed very cute on his great adventure, especially in the awesome dandelion pic!
I found this video thanks to Ban & Adam from Jet Lagged the Game too.
Also, based on the footage, this video was 11 days old and had 106k views then when Ben and Adam saw it at the fourth day of the game, 12:44 pm local time. From this and the fact that this video is uploaded on April 7th about 7pm JST we can conclude that the game of Jet Lag is played from April 16th to 19th JST.
This is about to get a whole lot more views I feel... Wonderful video!!

Sarah is quick learner as it looks for her crocheting. I remember when I was her age and started but however nobody felt the need to teach me how to do a 2nd row and so now as an adult I think I need to catch up again someday and finally learn the 2nd row

6:10 yeah I like that too. I mean if I don't know a place I go to and sit in a bus or train I tend to look more at the surounding area than for places I seen a couple of times. I love to see buildings I never seen before the most and especially if they have a color or shape I didn't seen before. I saw so many cool looking buildings by just looking out the window. My greatest memory was when I moved to the area I live in and drove from my city to the nearby town by train and saw the ruins of a castle in the hills trought the window

At this time of year, Japan is filled with cherry blossoms wherever you look. Somei Yoshino, Kawazu cherry blossoms, etc. are a competition of cherry blossoms and many flowers in a short period.
For a moment, when I was startled when Joshua nearly sat backwards on the fence surrounding Odawara Castle's pond, it was wonderful to warn our kids Daddy that it was dangerous. By the way, the stuffed dog made by Sarah is very cute. 👍🌸

私の故郷を紹介してくれてとても嬉しいです。幼少の頃はよく小田原城址公園へ両親に連れて行ってもらい、当時は公園内に動物園、遊園地（観覧車）、野球場、小学校などがありました。しかし、文化財を守るための法律で、歴史的遺跡の周りにから排除しなくてはならなくなり現状のように変わりました。小田原城は戦国時代の歴史的な城なので興味があったら調べてみてください。

We went to Odawara Castle in 2019, but we may have entered thru some back access or something, because we didn't get to see how beautiful the entrance is!
But at least we got to the top of the castle, where the view are amazing!

Haven’t you seen Nijna there? That castle is the very place where Fuuma school of Nija worked for the owner lord, Hojo Clan in the ancient days. Seemingly there are some Ninja shows there.

Thank you for taking us on your adventure. I am incredibly bummed that I didn't get to check Odawara out. I stopped at Odawara briefly on my way to Hakone Yumoto, but didn't have any time to explore as I was running late.
The only thing that bummed me was not seeing the grounds from the top of the castle. That would have been awesome, I'm sure! We'll both have to go back sometime again :)
So fun that your family gets to experience history like that! The Sakura are so pretty!!
