Go with me as I explore the town of Tromsø in northern Norway and enjoying my first few hours of proper daylight after having been in Svalbard for a full week. I visited some famous sights in Tromsø like the Tromso church (Tromsø domkirke), then walking to the Tromso harbor (Tromsø havnen), seeing the famous Hurtigruten cruise ship (Tromsø Hurtigrutenkai), then walking over the Tromso bridge (Tromsøbrua) towards the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen) and then taking the cable cart at Fjellheisen up to Storsteinen mountain. Then hiking (i.e. sliding) down a slippery path (Sherpatrappa) back to town!

Is it easy to get by without car in Tromso?
I would say yes! As it’s not a really large town, most of the main sights in town are easily in reach by foot, as I walked everywhere in this vlog. I can imagine if you want to venture out of the city you’d need a car!

I was in Svalbard! Even more north than Tromsø 😅 you can find these videos as well on my channel, I made around 5 videos when I was there
