My phone screen was blank that looked kinda gray (so I knew it was not off). Pressing volume up and down worked because "Slide to power off" appeared once I pressed the power button. However, I pressed it for longer than 5 seconds and still nothing happened. The screen did not turn off. So I manually turned the phone off by sliding the on screen power button. Then after a few seconds, I manually turned it on again. It seems fine now. Hopefully the problem was solved even though not all the steps of the fix worked on my phone. Thank you very much!
