I thought that Shane had his ups and downs about him he was right about the walkers but killing Otis to have another shot with Lori was horrible it shows he lost sanity along the way including when Rick returns at the camp
"Killing Otis to have another shot with Lori"!??! He killed Otis because Otis wouldn't accept the fact that they both couldn't survive, Shane wanted to sacrifice himself, and Otis denied, so Shane had to kill him. If he didn't the walkers would've caught up with them and Shane, Otis and Carl would've all died...

Shane was such a badass and provided great conflict in the show. They should not have had him killed off.

After Shanes death i lost all interest in the series. It was such an interesting twist with him, Rick and Lori.
