So, you're essentially doing the same, Ruchi and it's always best to do what works with your lifestyle 😊. I'll try making the cubes! They'll definitely be handy when I am too tired to cook from scratch.

11:58 just a suggestion the onions will be brown and crispy like barista when we chop onions manually because that way onions donot release water easily while chopped onions in chopper release water while chopping that is why it takes more time to get caramelized and not crispy And you can try one more method where just add everything in pressure cooker and once done cook until water evaporates and blend them and freeze 🙂 even i do the same to make frozen cubes it saves alot of time
At the end of the, day gravy cubes were as good as I want so I wouldn’t worry about browning again. I really didn’t like the idea of caramelizing onions because although tasty, they do lose a lot of nutrients when they turn crispy brown. But thanks for the pressure cooker suggestion. For occasional cooking, I will use that methid.

I think restaurant food whether fresh or frozen is questionable. I don’t think they wash the veggies so well like we do at home. Many people would order food from outside everyday but would not allow any home made frozen food to be made(my brother) . 😂

I live in the US and I make onion/ tomato gravy for the year. I also make makhani gravy and freeze that. I freeze ginger and garlic separately because some of my recipes only require one or the other. It’s such a life saver because I can always whip up a meal if someone comes over. Of course I freeze green chutney and meetha chutney because who dosent like chaat? 😄

Ruchi any veggies or chillies you store in the fridge, remove the green heads on top of the veg like the tomatoes in this vlog or green peppers, cauliflower, etc, or stalks from the chillies, and keep them all wrapped in tissue or paper towels, they will stay fresh for much longer.
@@RuchiinChina i understand. But you said you would keep some of the fresh new farm tomatoes you bought online in the fridge and use the old ones you bought earlier in the masala cubes. The new ones you kept aside for the fridge had the green stalkheads on top, if you gently remove those and wrap them in paper towels it absorbs the moisture and gases that keep being released from the veggies and keeps them fresh for much longer. Add some salt while making curry cubes that will work like a preservative and taste of the garvy will never change within a month or two
