I'll be honest with you, I'm actually glad you're not continuing with ROTS, because it would have ruined everything you had accomplished with BEYOND and everything that was told before, as if everything Voyd and his family had been through would have been in vain, that perfect ending they had would have gone to waste. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of the War against the Gods and yes, there are several ideas that are worthy of telling, but the truth is that it's not the right fit for JA, now I'm just more excited for D2 and how you're taking the story that we all love in this new direction.
Okay im not a writer or reviewer in any sense of the word but ill do my best, i dont think rise would've worked because everyone got their ending in beyond part 3, that story was in my opinions the avengers endgame of this saga, everything built up to it and it was great,but id say you were right in you were riding a writing wave after you finished and just rushing to get more JA content out, nothing wrong with that but to go that dark and kill off those characters wouldve honestly annoyed and upset me . I think your right in not continuing this and focusing on draft 2 because it lets you hammer all the rough edges out. And when you someday get to Journeys Ahead VI Beyond and finish that, afterwards you could do a sort of epilouge episode or more, focusing on what other characters get up to after beyond, like (and this is just what i want to see you can completely ignore this if ya want completely understand) what the reflections get up to after, Core and the Lost souls finding their homes, and maybe some genuine slice of life stuff(e.g. Joebee and Elijah,Vivian adapting to her new life and pawfnu copying her sister and tries dating) yknow characters growth minus the trauma. So overall i say age and rise should stay in purgatory, the other stories im eh about em if they happen they happen if not meh we already got 6 sagas im happy. Thats what i think do what ya want with this comment completely ignore it or ask me if ya i want to do voice work when Netflix calls wanting to make a hit animated show after the graphic novel releases, your the guy pulling the beyonders strings so you decide where this story goes, im just a fan with a lot of love for this story to give and enjoy commenting because you respond and ask us what we think(case in point see end of video). well, Rise of the sparks sounds too dark and the ending where they all leave would feel depressing, however, I think and feel that Draft 2 would be nice, I would probably enjoy how Trash Pack would go. but I think you should hold off on those stories, except Trash Pack if you want to, while focusing on Draft 2.
