- My fascination with Jethro Tull started already back when I went to high school. One of my mates played this album for me on his old vinyl record player and I was just mesmerised. So I would say that Ian Anderson and the rest of all the different band members of Jethro Tull has had a huge impact on my own songwriting. Here is my tribute to this amazing band! Hope you enjoy it!
Jethro Tull is a lifelong addiction for me. This is a damn good cover.
Just discovered Tull when I spent two years in the hospital with MS. I heard Aqualung in the 90's but never registered. All those years listening to bands like Metallica and Nirvana only to find out what true genius in music is. Great cover my Man! Mind blown
Great cover, beautiful background too!
So how you feeling these days?
I grew up listening to Jethro tull. Thick as a brick is one of my favorite albums. Besides many blues Days of Future past. How often can you find rock and roll with the London symphony orchestra combined. Music isn't what it used to be. So glad I grew up in the air that I did.
Tbf... Nirvana created a sub- gengre. But you're right, about the genius thing. I saw them twice in the 80's...
I was waiting for Ian to come walking out of the trees with his flute to join in.
Great job!
That, my friend, was outstanding. Superb location too. Bravo 👏👏👏
Jesus. An Ian Anderson Tribute Band is crying to be formed. Beautiful picking.
So so so true! And r and r hall of fame next
Great rendition! You take me back to my high school days in the 1970's when I was part of a group of close friends who were serious Jethro Tull fans. We even had a member who played Anderson's flute parts on a penny whistle - complete with leaping about on one leg! Happy days 🙂
. . . a moment that I'm grateful to the algorithm gods of UA-cam . . .happy to discover this today!
He does the guitar part a little differently, but very interesting and well done. Good job on the vocals too, which isn’t easy.
❤ Just simple and perfect! Damn cool voice ! I would love to see the chords to it as well!
Bravo🎉

This is brilliant, so well done and what a classic to learn, good on you. As a man now in his 70s, to hear this for the first time at 16 was life changing, musically, as all I wanted to do was to be able to play guitar. And I do, though not as good as you my friend. Thank you.

Phenomenal job my brother. Not an easy song at all, none of his work is, but you did a hell of a job
Stellar. I was in 10th grade when that came out. Watching this video created a flood of memories. Thank you.
Excellent cover!
Only a guy like yourself to cover a song by Eliot Smith, a fantastic musician and composer of whom I became a fan since the first time I heard one of his songs, but who unfortunately left us too soon. And your interpretation of Tick As A Brics was sublime, wonderful, congratulations. Grettings from Brazil.
Excellent !
