What do we mean by “freedom”? Paul said, “It was for freedom that Christ set you free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1). We are set free to live and think as sons of God at the point of salvation. However, we can be free but live as slaves if we BELIEVE we are nothing more than the sin-sick product of our past… We are loved and accepted by God, but if we don’t BELIEVE it, we will be slaves to the feelings of guilt, shame, and insecurity regarding the Father’s acceptance of us. Jesus said, “You will know (BELIEVE) the truth and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).
This year, we will walk together step by step into believing in God and obtaining freedom. Be courageous. The lies we believe have been accumulated over our lifetime. They have been reinforced by people, circumstances, demons, and our self-talk. We are going to step out of these prison cells of deception by faith in God and His word. Don’t miss a message!
