I grew up in east Baltimore in Highlandtown. I will say this. You go driving around pointing cameras at people like that on the wrong street. You are gonna have a bad day.
Tru shit. When some 1 from UA-cam was on the east pointing the cam…. Yo said, look out for that car with the cam…. Nigga sped up so fast
Yo...I lived right on the corner of Highland and Baltimore. ..2001
Sounds like a lovely place to be.
@@everything777bot much?
@@SpaceCityProjectz what?
My mom moved us to Baltimore it was the most ignorant city in the US.
-2pac
Why did he say that? 🤔
@@megamaniscoolrightguys2749- After making that statement, he dropped out of school, moved to Oakland, and tattooed Thug Life on his stomach with a bullet. Now how ignorant was that? And I actually went to school with Tupac & Jada.
@@tshyne8007so you don’t think 2pac was about that thug life?
Watch the interview of him at 16 or 17, and you will get your answer.
@@isaiahtippit2734He was an actor, he literally went to an arts school and dissed the east coast when he put on his west coast Thug persona even though he’s from the east coast smh
There are actually a good chunk of very nice neighborhoods in Baltimore that no one ever seems to highlight. I've lived in Baltimore County all my life and am only just now at age 29 exploring the city and trying to see it in a different light. People only ever show the not so nice parts. We have areas that have been heavily gentrified and updated just like anywhere else.
Can you give me some pointers 😊 I plan on relocating there with in the next few months
@@lhoward1188 Well it really depends on your personality and your budget. I hear people really like the North Charles and Mount Vernon area and it's ok I guess depending on what you like. Very affordable. It's been becoming more trendy in the past few years.....but if you can afford a bit more, I'd strongly suggest south Baltimore. This includes Canton, Brewers Hill, Fells Point, Federal Hill, Riverside, and Locust Point. all of these places have their little differences, but they are all much more appealing than anything that you usually see about Baltimore. Comparable to any other city. And although some homes may not look great on the outside, many of them have been beautifully renovated on the inside.
@@BreNichols94Roland Park is probably best
This was the same for me.
Edit: Except I'm not 29 yet.
@@BreNichols94this is facts, anywhere near the Hopkins fear bubble in the city is semi safer 😂.
It's not that the people living there are bad it's the living conditions that are bad. You have to know the area know the people and know the culture. If you're on the outside looking in you can't appreciate what these people that live there have to deal with on a daily basis
Also Baltimore’s police and political corruption are on another level..
It's mostly politics. Compared to other places, our police are okay.
Elaboration?
Well they are near the epicenter of political corruption where nearly all face little to no consequence.
U ain't never lied
Truth.
It's much different when you get out of the car and talk to people
Right
I got people out there who will call and check on me if I ain't been around for a bit.
My own family won't even do that. I love that neighborhood and the people in it.
I’m originally from the South, but I live in Baltimore and I was in Philly yesterday . Kensington is unreal! West Philly is a trip as well. Philly and Bmore are neck and neck! Slight edge Philly.
Sorry.
Kensington is another planet. Woooooo........
I’m from Baltimore but Kensington different , south Baltimore is like our kensington
Stop it. Baltimore homicide top three. Baltimore homicide per capital is number one. Meanin for Baltimore to be sooo small for this many ppl to be killed it’s like one out of every 10
Y’all ain’t been to Newark
this looks okay, no one is bent over in zombie mode like Philly...these people are all awake and just living their lives.not a bunch of strung out druggies.
Wrong. It is no different there than any other major city. They are just showing you the wrong street to see that.
Just the preview.
You should see South Baltimore. This video is Northwest.
Thats because all the "zombies" are buried in the basements of these buildings. Baltimore is the worst/saddest major city in America, not jist east coast.
@@IAMDAVIDuRNOT Camden NJ said to hold it's beer.
Baltimore, Philly (Kennsington), Camden NJ, Oakland, Detroit (abandoned), East Cleveland, South Chicago, Jackson Mississippi, San Francisco (Tenderloin), Memphis TN, Portland, Washington D.C., Newark NJ, South Bronx, Gary Indiana, Los Angeles metro... almost forgot North New Orleans & Houston 5th ward.
💯
Atlanta and St. Louis should not be overlooked
New haven ct Hartford ct methadone mile boston Newark
All of the cities you listed are ran by Democrats just putting that out there , instead of playing identity politics. How about run the cities the way they are supposed to be ran . Clean them up, strengthen police forces by funding them, have a policy for landlords to keep apartments, homes and businesses clean on the outside and enforce public intoxication laws. Oh yea have policies for entitlements you must work to get them and you are on them for a limited time . These cities are a sign of nothing but despotism that’s it .
Jersey city, Nj
Nah, it’s a city struggling since big business abandoned it at the end of the train era.
I’ve worked in the worst parts of Baltimore and when I tell you it’s full of good people just trying to get by, I mean it.
The city is SLOWLY gentrifying and building itself back up. You might see really nice townhomes that are all renovated across the street from townhomes that are condemned.
bout 3, 4 blocks ahead of where this car stopped there's blocks and blocks of updated housing
Top 3... Philly, Camden, Baltimore. Any of them in Any order.
Wilmington DE Bridgeton NJ SCHOOLOFHARDKNOCKS
Baltimore is the prime example of rich developers using corrupt politicians to move unskilled and crime-practicing people to suburbs in order to develop areas like the Inner Harbor at the expense of law-bidding taxpayers.
You're a prime example of misunderstanding how the world works
Yep, I live in a prime bedroom community outside Baltimore and the community has become overwhelmed with city folk and South American and Central Americans. I work at the local Home Depot and the Latinos who come in can barely communicate in English.
Yea I notice that they are slowly making it harder for the city degenerates to afford housing and they are slowly creeping over to the county now making that area unsafe. If they fully switch over I’ll just leave because I refuse to live in the city. The parking and traffic alone is enough for me to go off😂
@@BlackGirlLovesAnime6you didn't care of your own city so y'all escaped to suburbs in 1950s and neither did your govt so you got what you got - crime spreading beyond the city limits
Maybe stop dehumanizing and segregating people? Stop treating them like animals, and they might just stop acting like animals. Crazy idea, I know
As someone who used to live there....Yes! Its the worst city in the Western Hemisphere
I dunno, Port-au-Prince seems pretty bad
Not worse then Philly or Camden😂
Looks like 80's Harlem NY
I was gonna say the same
More like south Bronx
Baltimore started to go down in the 90s. It picked up for awhile in the early 2000s but then took a major drop
Baltimore has always been down!👎🏽
I am originally from Maryland but traveled all over the world and all over the country. I love Baltimore, it is the first city I have lived that the people are totally real and down to earth. I lived in places like Richmond VA which its citizens think is some sort of cultural hub or bohemian destination, or phoenix AZ who thought their proximity to LA made them a trend setter. Baltimoreans are what you see is what you get, and I appreciate the reputation it has, if you want to live in some planned suburban subdivision where are the houses look the same and everyone guards the property line in their yard like it’s the DMZ we don’t want you in Baltimore.
You must include Paterson NJ , “ Boogie Town “ as one of the worst most corrupt towns in one of the worst, most corrupt counties on the east coast.
Not as bad as Camden!!!!!!
Trenton?
No 😢 I’m a Paterson NJ bred but you are so right smh
Dude rode down Penn North and said this is Baltimore the...smh 😂!
Baltimore is so bad that anything that starts with a B, i question 😅
Absolutely, I’m from Baltimore and i feel nothing but disgust
Baltimore has a beauty all it's own. 💯
As a person from Baltimore Dew not stare at anybody mind ya bidness and keep walking

All these terrible cities have the same thing in common.
So this white boy drove down a few blocks and said this was all of Baltimore 🥴🥴
Enough to know, Its a Shithole
a lot of good people there but at the same time it’s a very dangerous place in certain areas and times.
This looks like heaven on earth compared to Kensington Philadelphia
Looks like normal everyday people relaxing and enjoying a breezy summer afternoon ❤
I had a love/hate relationship with it when I lived there & later when my daughter lived there. In those days I almost never experienced racism anywhere even the toughest neighborhoods. Not sure that’s true anymore
It's true, Baltimore had much more pride about itself about 40 years ago. But outside Center City, Philadelphia feels a whole lot more menacing. Remember this: Nighttime is not the righttime.
That place hasn't been nice since the 50s before the roachs and rats
looks normal no mentalillness or addicted souls and slum s on the streets ,god bless these souls .
Either that or Philly
Beautiful mural of
Billie Holiday!!
One thing for sure,Baltimore is black.
It is the worst in a lot of ways and definitely is hell on a poor person but I will say that there is a certain beauty within the struggle.Surviving here can be difficult especially if someone isn’t sharp mentally and if you’re not built for the streets don’t fake it because there are many that won’t give a single damn about you disappearing
charm city is still beautiful i grew up there
Philly is the worse; B’more #2.
Hell no. Baltimore poverty and crime rate an homicides is always top three. Every year. Philly not even top 6. Stop it. Philly got cheese steaks and muslims.
We gotta stop claiming our city is the worst, that shit aint cool. We the best city in the world
And your dumb
your american ghettos look like suburbs.. come to africa i show you real ghetto
Gotta take dem corners.
One of many .
that's not Baltimore that's Haiti
Thats was a good one 👍
😂
ROFL
Naw we don't run to other countries and say "help me" we take what we need in our own country and city
Most of Baltimore sucks but Philadelphia I would say is worse
Born and raised in bmore and no it ain't the worst city. It's the best. Yeah, you got people getting money and shit happens but that's everywhere. We're a community not just a city

I grew up in Baltimore City on the Westside. We had great neighborhoods and neighbors. People respected each other. Kids were respectful. People were home owners that took pride in themselves, their homes, and surroundings. I have driven through those old neighborhoods from time to time they are a disgrace. It is really sad. Baltimore City has a bunch of do nothing politicians, with a little boy playing a major and people who really don't care about themselves anymore. The few that do care aren't heard and get lost in the madness.
I grew up on the south side of Chicago for years but had a few long distance friends over in Baltimore . The feelin I got what chilling
Downtown Baltimore is totally different
I’m love this I’m from Philly I feel comfortable around this environment I’m from this type of environment I can adapt I can’t be around rich people I get paranoid when it’s quite
It's bad but Kensington is worse
Philly is worse
Bmore is worse man, there was a shooting at sky zone near the city
Richmond VA Henrico VA ❤
Stop it. Baltimore crime and homicide rate is always in the top three. I Neva seen Philly in the top 8. Smh
@@WillieD804Richmond ain’t that bad
Baltimore is beautiful-it’s the Wild West but always an adventure
Baltimore is an educated city . Ppl looking at boarded up row homes and making judgements
Facts!
The worst city has John’s Hopkins university and the school of arts!!! Do some research
That look CT but without all the people. I imagine they trashed our city and just moved back here
Hartford and Bridgeport is really f'd up.
Now ride thru the GOOD/CLEAN parts of BALTIMORE and post it...
Philly and Baltimore are the worst two cities on the east coast, now you can take your pick,as for me I’m gonna put Philly #1 and Baltimore #2 , the good news is that I don’t live in either one of them I live in Brooklyn NYC. 😳
Philly takes that title.
Im from Baltimore and I agree
I agree, Philadelphia has to be the worst on the east coast & I’m a Eagles 🦅 fan 👍
@@frank-xp6pjI think you are right about that. I haven't seen anything as bad as Philly yet. I live about 35 mins. from Bmore in Pa but Philly has it beat. Love the Eagles also.
how come there is no city like wakanda on earth?
North and Pennsylvania Avenues have been politically neglected for years and the introduction of "Crack" in the 80's has only made the situation appear to be hopeless!!!😢
You have to check out Paterson, NJ. It’s no joke over there
Yes agree ! Thanks for saying that!
It crazy how new york and Baltimore still has those stairs on the back of buildings. U cant find any buildings like that here in detroit
Check the scrap yard 🤣 Those stairs are fire escapes!
Baltimore is considered the south basically because it’s in the state of Maryland
Its sad. The architecture is amazing aswell. Meanwhile you have these "upscale" neighbourhood housing being built from absolute junk.
I love it a hood that still looks like early 90s a lot of hoods are cleaner now yea I call worst hood east coast
I meaann, I depends on where you are in the city..
Philly zombie land is the worst I've seen
going through these comments is a good way to remind myself that people LOVE to talk out their buttcheeks about things they have no idea about and haven't ever even. bothered to learn about. It's wild some of the things y'all are saying here.
Baltimore and Philadelphia feel like the same place but the vibes are way different
Why is it the worse city? Tell me
It's home tho...410 stand up
This looks like Cincinnati. 💯
Move immediately or your life will be ruined.
That area your driving through was nothing like that. When I was a little kid I was born in 1980.
Really depends where you're at.
This is like the nicest I’ve seen of Baltimore aside from Fells Point, delivered there for year & a half & saw much much worse areas. This is nothing
It’s just a preview to the full video m.ua-cam.com/video/O5bmnR05UmM/v-deo.html
@@ghettomericathis dude just talking out of the side of his neck, he wouldn’t last 3 seconds in cherry hill. Most people like to talk silly just to sound cute. I get it
Visited last year. Definitely not worse than Philly. But all east coast cities are old af...
Might have something to do with the east coast, being the oldest part of this country!
Large up Baltimore I Love that City Big Love Respeto EveryTime!!! ✊🏾❤️💛💚🦁
That's Penn North that's West Baltimore not east
Sadly crime is out of control as usual and police numbers are low with some calls with no response for hours
I will forever love this city
Why drive in the hood though? Any city has bad hoods...
Glad i live in white neighborhood
😂😂😂
😂 it’s sad that this is reality but all the heavily black populated areas are unsafe
Bros never seen Binghamton or Elmira NY. Plenty of white hoods out there yk
Wrong look at Vancouver or Philly
Just another democRat stronghold
Definitely us and Philly for sure.
I Doubt it being the worst on the East Coast.
As a Maryland resident for 20+ years, yes.
FAWWWK KNOW WE The BEST 💪😡
This is before the bridge of the Baltimore collapse correct?
Newark and Baltimore as a whole probably
But worst parts of Philly the worst to me
I grew up on the east side of Baltimore. Down Da Hill by highland town and I even went to highland town middle school and canton middle school as well but I went to Douglass on the west side and lived on Fulton And Riggs near sand town
All I see is a forgotten people:
People just walking around,
A mom buying her kids ice cream,
People riding bikes,
Kids coming home from school.
No yelling or screaming.
Look past the dilapidated buildings.
Can't the city rebuild?
I guess not.
We supposed to be the richest state.
That's right. LOOK IT UP.
Its filthy, but the people are unique and were quite nice to me.
North Ave.home of the dope fiends!
Baltimore is a pretty city in. It is a good place and a good environment.
Out of all cities i would say it’s the trenched out on the east coast but as far as dangerous there are other cities just as dangerous DC, VA, Philly, Jacksonville, Miami, PG county Md, Broward County FL,
Gon drive directly towards PennNorth n den gon ask dat question.. 😒💀
Nah, jittleyoots a fubula tang
Bibbula gibala juttelyu apang
Baltimore is the greatest city in America
I can't speak for some cities but Baltimore, DC and Richmond Virginia i can definitely.
DMV is another world. Bmore and Richmond are the trenches. There’s nice areas tew. But he’ll nah I can’t eem bring county homies down here. They get my ass in trouble in my hometown (bmore)
DC is fire how is it bad I love dc I have seen nothing bad in general in that city Richmond isn’t bad either it used to be but it’s chill I’ve been there lots of times and in Baltimore jus don’t go to the hood that’s it and be a lil aware of your surroundings in general
I see partially why the homi rate so crazy..nowhere for these guys to run
Nah they still have competitors, like philly, Washington DC, Trenton NJ, Camden, NJ, n more
It was a nice place to live 80s and before. It went down hill when they forced a certain demographic in to the nice baltimore areas.
Im from chicago live in south shore EAST SIDE ,and we got trenches but ours dont match bmores appearance 💯Shit looked def packed in! Like everyones on top of each other. Def in tremendous shape. Sad we still dont understand its people in higher positions banking literally BANKING💰 On certain neighborhoods in the usa to stay in these conditions.. im pretty sure BMore has more healthy neighborhoods💯
And how it is in the Indian reserves?
Just asking as a foreigner.
