Kami po sa Architecture meron din po kaming Design and Estimates which is apparently discussed here.. if the vlog shows structural computation well thats the time na applicable ang statement nyo... well kung tutuusin meron din kaming structural subjects which teaches us to compute timber, steel and concrete design.. but unfortunately we are not allowed to sign the drawing documents which we do respect... so sana sa mga Engineers na pumipirma ng Architectural Drawings e wag naman po sana.. ginagawa din po namin ang B.O.M na sinusubmit din namin for Buidling Permit thats why we do estimates as well.. kadalasan lang ng mga gumagawa nito sa practice ay quantity surveyor na kadalasan ay mga Engineer.. but this doesnt stop us nor limit our scope to do estimates.. and meron din kaming design and construction subjects which what we call Building Tech which teaches us construction methodology... so we are not totally into DESIGN ONLY just for clarification... same goes for engineers.. Architecture design is for Architects not for Engineers.. Hope this is crystal clear to all

Pwede mo ba dun i derive yung 36 / 3 na factor mo. Please re check your work. 🤔
oo, sa isang cubic meter na volume na bubuhusan mo, ay 9 bags na semento ang magagamit mo. BASIC db? kesa dun sa 36/3 na misleading.
Derived yang multiplier
1:2:4 po yung proportion nung kay Fajardo. Yung ginamit nya po dito is 1:2:3. That's why naderive nya po yung V x 36/3.
So kung 1:2:4 ginamit dapat 36/4 ba?

I started researching and looking for a second opinion and how to make material estimates after my uncle (self-proclaimed foreman) handed over a questionable excessive estimates for our simple concrete fencing. Thankfully I find your videos so that I can study and hopefully come up with an accurate estimate. Construction materials are getting expensive these days and a lack or excess materials racks up the cost.

sobra na quantity ng cement and sand kc quantity ng gravel is equal to the total volume of footings,so sa gravel plang puno na footings..paki paliwanag nman eng'r.
Na sobra sa estimate Si engr. Sa footing, column tsaka beam. Double lahat volume quantity.. Lugi tayo nyan engr.
Ung sand po sir, ito po magfifill sa mga pagitan ng gravel, kung mapapansin niyo po di po makocompact ang gravel na magdidikit lahat may mga awang po o butas kung tawagin po sa technical terms ay voids. ung semento naman po magsisilbi lang pong pandikit sa gravel at sand. Kaya ung total volume of gravel is equal to total volume of concrete
Ung number of cement naman po na nabanggit sa video pang Class AA 12 bags of cement per cu.m of concrete. Pwede naman po kayong gumamit ng Class A na may 9 bags of cement per cu.m of concrete

Why is it that the formula you used (Vs = V/2 , Vgravel = V), does not the ssme result as you literally take the 1:2:3:0.5? Thank you.
