Great video and tutorial of this diorama! I knew b4 watching that this would turn out Spectacular! My favorite part was the water and looked real enough to walk up and take a dip! Thanks again for sharing your videos with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort!
Outstanding! I am going to give it a go. I should probably do Kitty Jay's grave too. Proper Dartmoor stuff, love the models, love the moors. Thanks for such inspiration.
Not sure what to write Andy because I seem to repeat myself with every one of your posts & videos... A Master of scenics my friend.. what else can I say?? ❤
Hi Andy brilliant video of the build. I've got a photo of me and the dogs on a clapper bridge down there. Really enjoyed watching and seeing how you get all your effects especially on the water cheers Andy
Fantastic diorama Andy, I have nearly caught up on all your videos now and I am simply blown away by the level of skill you are showing. They make excellent tutorials as well as you don't skip things and all is explained clearly to allow us lesser mortals to have a bash as well! Having just returned from the Dartmouth area and visited Totnes, Dartmoor, Dittisham etc I can probably appreciate your dioramas set in the local landscape even more. Superb mate. Only one little request, could you do a mini tutorial in one of your videos on how you make those superb bluebells and daffodils please? My own layout Kingsbridge Junction is based on a might have been if Brunel had persuaded the Admiralty to allow him to build a bridge over the Dart at Dartmouth and the tutorials on Devon bank hedges, streams and barns will be well used! Cheers Steve
Thank you Steve, that’s very kind of you to say. I’ll have a go at a flower tutorial very soon. Is there somewhere I can see photos of your layout as it sounds great.
Having grown up at Bellever and passing the clapper bridge there and at Postbridge you've captured the scene perfectly. Would love to know what you use as the flower scatter?
What an amazing place to grow up!! These are Woodland Scenics flower hues but I also made some from wax crayons (see my flower video if it’s of interest)
Thank you. If you put scenic glue on certain scatters/powders, it can bead and make a bit of a mess. The watered down washing up liquid breaks the surface before applying the glue. You can also use isopropyl alcohol.
Beautiful work! Love the attention to detail! Your dioramas look so realistic, especially when you photograph them in a real world location! 😁😎 What do you do with your completed dioramas? Do you store them? Are they on display somewhere? Do you use them for war gaming or something like that? 🤔
Absolutely fabulous! Doesn’t look that hard, it just takes time. Love it!
Thank you 😊
Went to Postbridge today, remembered how good your work on this is, inspired!
It’s a lovely place isn’t it. Thank you for your kind comment 😊
Perfect. Brings back childhood memories of summer holidays in Devon!
Thank you 😊

Can you explain why you spray water and washing up liquid to your grass before adding scenic glue? What does the soap do? Great vid as usual BTW.
Thank you. If you put scenic glue on certain scatters/powders, it can bead and make a bit of a mess. The watered down washing up liquid breaks the surface before applying the glue. You can also use isopropyl alcohol.
Great vid 👌👍
Thanks Dylan

Thanks Richard. They are currently stored in the loft so will probably recycle bits of them for other projects soon 😁
