@@lamarasawyer850when having hanahaki; Flowers grow in your lungs, so when he coughed up flower peddles it means his decease has worsened. And when the flowers start growing more, the thorns scratch his throat. Causing the blood. So the flower peddles will puncture his lungs or suffocate him. Either way he does, unless he confesses his love and it is reciprocated.

Just in case anyone asks: Hanahaki is a fictional illness that makes you vomit flower petals. The symptoms are a strong body pain and flowers growing inside. The way to contract it is by falling in love, which for some can take months or years for symptoms to appear, for others it takes a few days.
