The only way they could have made Grevious and Anakin meet and it not break the ROTS scene was to make it so that was what they always said to each other as insults. Literally every time they meet, Anakin says he's short Grevious says he's young. I dunno, do you think that could have worked? Tbf I like that Filoni kept them apart.
Grievous and Anakin did cross paths at least once during the Clone Wars, but it’s debatable. During the episode where Jar Jar impersonates Boss Lyonie, Grievous and Anakin cross paths during the prisoner exchange (Though Anakin is unconscious at the moment)
1 criticism (my opinion) The 2 different background audios clash very hard and gave me a slight headache, try finding something that flows a little better
Imagine Sidious didn't wanted Anakin and Grievous to meet out of fear they might get along with each other. Both follow a certain warrior code, are exceptional fighters, pilots and leaders (Grievous just didn't like the droids, his Kaleesh warriors were his equivalent to Anakin's 501st) Both were never pleased with standard issue and always modified their equipment. That's because both grew up poor, one as slave, one into a generation long war, so they made the best of everything. And both were treated unfairly from time to time. Also, the clone wars was essentially a competition between these two about who committed the most war crimes
when talented scriptwriters are limited by goofy chitchat now considered canon because original creators thought it would be badass (but only for 2003 audience)
The Ahsoka series is at the moment my favourite thing in SW next to R1. The problem is not the product, it's the "fans". People forget that George sold SW because of too much hate for the Prequels. And now everybody acts like the Prequels where always good received (I love them as well).
@@justjamie5006 No not really. Back in the day he also always did his thing and really cared less about the Expanded Universe than Lucasfilm today cares about Legends as a whole. He had the audacity to give Anakin a Padawan everyone hated. Lucas got more hate than Kathrin Kenedy today. That guy "destroyed" Star Wars really. /S Not to mention the Special Editions...
@@cedrickterrick I bet that once a new trilogy comes out and it gets the hate the fans will then act as if the sequels were always considered a masterpiece
I knew they’d came near each other before and it was when in opposing ships i just couldn’t remember when, now i do. Yeah they never met in person at that moment but they still met on a battlefield of sorts. Honestly tho the fact they never met actually kinda makes the show feel bigger. Why? Because it seems like the show’s protagonist is anakin and it very much is most of the time, but that one of the main villains of the series never meets him shows that he is not that which everything revolves around
11:06 It was Live Action. I guarantee you, it would have been a hundred times better if it was animated. I dare to say that the animated shows are better than any of the live action shows more often than not.
Obi-wan and Grievous should never have meet before episode III. The fight on Utapau was meant as a surprice for Obi-wan in knowing that Grievous have four arms
Not really. It was meant to be a suprise for the audience, unless everyone who saw grevious died fighting him, which would then make it hard to justify the republic winning at all.
@@gbozzi05_ not as much as you think that he was, it was mostly Dave Filioni in charge. You should see the featurettes of each season for the clone wars to see that George wasn't that involved
You should really clarify that the bible you're referring to is the Syriac bible. And not just say in Syriac+ the verse so as to not confuse people. Cause I got confused and thought it was a new book of the bible. That and the Syriac bible isn't that well known by anyone. bro that would be HILARIOUS and im all for it
It made sense for them not to meet until Revenge of the Sith where they meet face to face and comment how they are not what they expected.

I greatly appreciate that Bible segment. Keep up the great work and God Bless you!!!
Thank you for giving me a daily Bible verse also May the force be with you god bless you
5:25 Mix of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo? Hmmmmm.... sounds familiar.... didn't he mastered The Schwartz? 😅
Never thought I’d see Star Wars and talking about God in the same video. Amazing stuff!!! Liked and Subscribed just for that;)
I mean in away grievous and anakin did meet, skywalker was just unconscious whilst grievous was embarrassed that he got owned by gungans
Disney's biggest crime was canceling and not resuming the abandoned episodes from that time
Never seen anything like how you casually and neatly inputted a little devotional. Instant subscribed - keep up the great work :)
Dave cared so much about Anakin not meeting Grievous but retcons everything else.

As cool as it would have been to see Revan
It wouldn’t make any sense for the literal embodiment of the dark side seeking his counsel
You’re right, and the ones were also much much older iirc right? Why would they seek the advice of those not only weaker but younger too

@@Burlapyui True. But I can also tell you know. They are not as bad. I love Ep8 for giving the most heroic version of Luke Skywalker for example.
the bible verse was a surprise to be sure... but a welcome one
Outstanding. ✝️🤍
Also the scout trooper who tries to help Gree kill Yoda in ROTS is canonically one of the clones from Rugosa, I'm pretty sure it's Jek.
There’s also a crystal skull reference from Indiana Jones in the Wookie hunt episode
Anakin and Grievous actually met in the Lego The Padawan Menace (not canon)
Although I’m Jewish, cool you had the Christian segment. I appreciate that you put time stamps to skip tho lol 😅
Subbed as soon as you started that Bible verse. Good on you to spread God's work in a video completely unrelated.
Great video, man
They met when the Malevolence campaign
They don’t get close enough to have fully met

But thanks for the christian segment anyway it was good to hear
Isn’t revenge still part of the clone wars?
I thank you for the Christian segment

Great video Subbed!!
Dave Filoni keeps Driving Us Bats!!!!
really good video!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed!
For number 16, I think but I'm not positive that he meant on that planet
Conscripts are by definition forced to join not hired. Just FYI
Great video man, but quick tip - don't layer three songs on top of each other, gets quite annoying.
That "Christian" segment should be renamed the "Catholic" segment because there is a vast difference.

Im sad they washed valuable episdoes in season 6 on the martez sisters
Jesus loves you all, a relationship with God is the only solution to having peace and joy in the midst of the suffering and chaos in this world
The only solution?
I actually loved the segment. God bless you ❤❤❤
I like the Christian segment. I've never seen that before. Keep it up👍
Book of sirach isn’t biblical scripture so you can’t say it’s “Christian advice”
obi wan and general greivous first met in revenge of the Sith, but Dave filioni dumb self didn't know that smh.
No they didn’t obi wan fought grievous many times In the clone wars
That was definitely the intention, but I don’t think there’s any line which 100% confirms it.
@@harrygreen5116 then why did he tell Obi wan that he had been trained in the Jedi arts by count dooku if they had already fought lol
