I’m so happy to have found your channel!! I started bjj about 6 months ago and have been trying to find a sports hijab that doesn’t slip back when I roll ✨❤️
Hello sister I live grappling I practice it for a month in a full male team I sadly has to quit because I started wearing hijab and I can’t roll with guys but I really look forward to find a female team and go forward with my training in Bjj
Finally!! Been struggling with finding the right hijab for my bjj lessons. I just started wearing hijab and couldn’t figure out what to wear, ended up using Nike sports hijab, will be looking into Asiya. Thanks
Hey Girl! Asiya is having a store closing sale with major discounts so stick up! Also I’m coming out with a Sports Hijab for grapplers in 2023 Inshallah so stay tuned!!!
So I just ordered the asiya sports hijab because I recently started jujitsu and wear hijab. I also will take into account braiding my hair under my hijab instead of making a bun. I was looking for the undercap that you have, but I couldn't seem to find it...do you mind sharing a link? Thank you so much for this video❤️it inspires me to continue doing jujitsu while keeping the hijab on. I'm so looking forward to your own hijab coming out whenever it does!
I use Capsters, the short running hijab. The designer made one after a Muslim Girl got kicked out of gym class, from there the brand was created . It is approved by womens FIFA. I’ve used them for several years for running . The Asiya sports looks very much like the Capsters in design . However the Capsters material looks porous . Tiny holes all over it for breathability. it’s water resistant too not that it’s required for indoor sports . They do longer running versions and versions for sports other than running . I don’t know what the other versions feel or fit like although on appearance they look similar . However the “capsters runner”I purchased recently seems to be a tad thinner than I’m used to and a tad looser, cheaper production ? But it’s still snug enough for my needs . I have tried other brands and I don’t like the shiny polyester material with lots of Lycra or spandex . In my experience they start smelling whilst you’re sweating. I suspect the higher amounts of Lycra means it’s not as breathable . You might want to try them if you can get one shipped over for testing . Although I do wish they hadn’t made it thinner . I have the older versions and they’re definitely thicker and more snug . I don’t wear an undercap undermine it’s just too hot for running . I suppose with an undercap and lots of hair it would make it a tighter fit. They do have an all black one with no grey lines . But you would have to do a store locator check to see who supplies them most locally to you
Thanks for the video! I just came across it when searching for a BJJ friendly hijab for my daughter. Asiya went out of business unfortunately, any other recommendations? I’ll search your channel for content too - thank you!
Btw I have been looking for a hijab to adapt to grappling movement and tht won’t slip off my hair so I found the under armour ordered it and I got really disappointed it’s not thigh keeps moving and even just training kick boxing slips off the whole time I really need to order yours
Brands like Under Armour and Nike are not made by Muslim women, so I'm not surprised that they don't work for Muslim women. I am trying out a few more Muslim brands and will do another review video. I'm just waiting for them to arrive in the mail. I hope to manufacture my own one day as well, it'll just take some time!
Would the Asiya lite on its own be ok for jiujitsu? I’m not a Muslim but am looking for something to keep my hair clean and protected from damage. Just need it to not slip off and stay secure otherwise i’d choose the longer version. Thanks 💕
I use the Asiya lite underneath the Asiya sport hijab to keep my hair in. I haven't tried it on it's own for rolling but I imagine it would fall off if you're using it on it's own.
I have the criss-cross and the cap in Size 1 and I can 100% say as a fact they are not the ones you showed in your videos😕 they must have messed up in the warehouse or you accidentally ordered the wrong size

If you want something for BJJ or MMA, check out the Onyx Hijab by With Honour. My sister uses it and loves it
I will check it out for sure! Thank you!
Hi, Zenab! I see now that Asiya has closed their business. What sports hijabs have you found that have been comparable, please?
I'm so glad I found this video. Just had my first Jiu jitsu class and loved it, but can tell that hijab will be a struggle.
AWESOME! Keep going! I don’t notice my hijab sometimes unless I’m trying to get out of a headlock haha.

I bought two Asiya fit hijab and love them. But the white looks dingy after years, which I had bought black. Now they are no longer selling.

Thank you so much. I recently converted to Islam and thought I’d have to give up jiu jitsu
Asiya sports website is no longer active. Can you recommend any other brand for my teen daughter.

Now that Asiya Sport is no longer with us (R.I.P. to the best sports hijab company) do you have any other recommendations for sports hijabs?
I thought so too, but looked again and I think they are back!
I am into sewing ready made hijabs and i will like to be having my materials imported so can you be of help

Glad it’s worked for you. All 3 of mine say Size 1, as does my receipt.
They probably use the big hijab for people with super thick hair (ie dreadlocks). 🤷🏾♀️
Which country are you from?
Are you from Saudi Arabia?
is he between your thighs at the start of the video ? Astaghfirullah ...
Do you have instagram? Thank you 😊
