About this video:
In this video, Jill from MommyTimeTV goes over her personal cleaning schedule for working moms with you. If you are a working mom, like Jill, you know that cleaning typically happens on the weekends. In this cleaning schedule, there are no weekends involved, so that you can spend the weekend with your family!

I see others have commented with what I have to say but I have to say it again because it is so refreshing. I have watched so many cleaning routine videos and none of them are "real"; they clean their entire house in an hour!! No way! I love this because I can tell it's 100% real. Thank you!
Thanks so much!
This video is 3 years old but im just discovering it and i love it.
I do the same thing and leave the organizing on the weekends. I try to do as much as I can on a daily basis (laundry, dishes, wiping down kitchen, living room etc.) min 1 hour and if I don't have much to clean I do the extras such as baseboards. I dedicate Mondays and Fridays as my official cleaning days in the event I procrastinate. I don't follow a strict schedule. The only rule that I have is to get most of the cleaning done during the week so that my weekends are free. :-)
Our cleaning schedules are very similar! I dust on Mondays and I also get my windows done on dusting days as well so they don't build up. I clean tubs and toilets on Tuesday's as well as mop the bathroom floors. Wednesdays the garbage goes to the road so this is leftovers night and when we clear out the fridge of any expired foods or things that we won't eat again; so I clean the fridge, microwave, oven & stove, as well as moping the kitchen floors. Thursdays are cleaning the back patio to get ready for the weekend as well as moping the living room, bedrooms and hallway. Everything else is done daily like cleaning up after meals, picking up toys, resetting the rooms, laundry is also done daily and wiping down counter tops. Glad to to someone else's cleaning habits are similar to mine!
Can you please do a video of meal schedule ideas and prep? Your cleaning for working mom seems simple I started today. Very helpful thanks but I need one on meals.
Finally a realistic cleaning schedule!! With a realistic number of items on there and honesty. There are so many out there that say “oh just do these twenty things every day that will take fifteen mins”…thank you for a realistic schedule that a tired working mum can actually do at the end of the day x
Thanks so much! So glad you liked it!!
So true
Perfect! thank you for so much. I was doing fly lady, but when I went back to work, I didn't follow that program anymore. I have been needing this.
Great tips! Glad to see there’s organized cleaning for working parents! 👍🏼💜
Hey Jill thank you so much for this video. I am college student that has a hard time maintaining the apartment. I’m going to give this method a try and tell you how it goes. Have a great day 👍
This is a routine I think I could actually use. Thank you for hoe straightforward it is and approachable.
You’re welcome!
I’ve been following a similar cleaning schedule that was posted on the spruce, it has me cleaning for like 15 to 20 minutes every single day, so nothing builds up in my house and it’s always clean, even if it’s not super tidy
That sounds great! What's involved in the schedule?
@@diyak2182 mop it Monday, toilet Tuesday, wipe it Wednesday, throw it away Thursday, fold it Friday, speed cleaning Saturday, Sunday = rest
Gracias!
Love it! I will try this out, yay 😁 I’m excited 😝
Thank you! Oh man! I am a working mom and I need to improve on cleaning schedule. I needed a video on cleaning working moms. They have it more to my schedule. My issue, well, I currently only have one clingy toddler. And I can't imagine multiples. I feel guilty if I don't play or teach her after work. So cleaning goes out the window and backed up. Also I'm in the service and I am gone frequently and part of my job duty is to work out and maintain. More time taken away. And even then, that time has to be sacrificefor to cleaning or resting. My husband workes graveyard so he can't watcher her in the evening, but even if he worked days he would need to sleep by 7pm to be up by 4am out by 5am. I get so tired and burnt out by the weekend. I do try to do the kitchen every night and toss in a load of laundry over night. This helps me a bit. But detailing the home has gotten backed up!
This is awesome
Thank you. This is great! 👍🏾
Thank you!
Thanks for the organizing tips! I need help
Great Video love the schedule. Thank you form a busy working mommy :)
Love your video 🤩 what’s the brand of the cordless vacuum?
What a fantastic routine, how all the family work together is great.
Thanks for the tips ❤
Splendid
Thank you
Just something, I was looking for ..although the only change I would make is, I will change it from one weekly chore to one zone...but thanks alot anyways, stay blessed dear Jill
I use a hurricane scrubber to clean my tubs and showers...it cuts scrubbing time in half
Very simple and well explained. Not sure when the monthly tasks are done. On weekends? Also is the cordless stick a Dyson? Thanks
Thank you I really needed this and it seems like a practical routine that I can handle. Question- where in your routine would you clean bedrooms- kids, adults
Great videos! Please make more cleaning and hacks videos!
It's very similar to what I've been doing. But I don't vacuum everyday. Here most of us sweep our floors using brooms. But I do vacuum like every fortnightly. Making the bed every morning gives me motivation to get things done in the office as well. In the morning we are rushing as it needs an hour to send my kids to school n I n hubby get to our offices. School finished at lunch around 1.30pm n my hubby will pick my son. Lucky him he works just half day. N he spends time with our autistic son till I am at home. He n my son sometimes makes dinner or he bought dinner or all of us eat out. After dinner, back home. Clean the kitchen (if we make dinner), sweep the floor, take out the garbage, watch tv while folding clothes (if any) n goes to sleep at round 10.30pm. We clean the bathroom while bathing. If hubby has cleaned it, than I will clean it the other day while bathing after I come back from work. The whole spring cleaning will be done a few days before the Eid Al Fitr Celebration. It is tiring as its in the month of fasting but we always manage. God is Great. A new subscriber here.
Vary helpful:)

I am so glad you liked it! I will be posting these types of videos several times a week, so stay tuned for more!! This lunchbox is called OmieBox, you can get it from Amazon or their site. My kid loves it!
What vacuum is that? It’s not in the description
Great schedule but I'm divorced so I do it all on my own. I'm not complaining 🤣
I really like your chart. Is it self made?
Do you work during the week away from home? How do you fit cleaning through the week while doing dinner for family pick up the kids from school and driving everywhere for sports. I work 7am-3:30 Monday to friday. I have to leave work to go pick up my daughter from school which could be 20-30mins away and depend on traffic then we have to sit down and do homework and I start dinner and I try to do dishes as I go and wipe off counters and sweep the kitchen after dinner and sometimes I am just too tired.
Interesting
How can I purchase your cleaning checklist?
How many are in your family? I have 5 kids does this still apply?
Grt
It's good. Now how do you fit Bill's into that
PleAse do one for night shift working moms I am struggling
ceec renee I'm right there with you, night shift working mom. And I just want to sleep 😖
@@tashadavis607 - I think Clean Mama has a routine for shift workers?
Just curious if the is the same routine you use today?
It actually is and it still works great for me! 😁
Hi
You didn't mention meal preparation. Was that done by your hubby? I hope he is involve as much as you.
What kind of mop do you use???
Check at 5:21
What's the name of the vacuum? 5:41
My husband wants house to be supper organised n clean, and once I have cleaned it he creates the mess saying it’s my duty to keep house clean n it’s so difficult to manage it all with job and a 1 year old very demanding baby 😞
Your husband needs to get a grip. Maybe he should help out.
Hopefully he can see that it is unreasonable to expect this. Any human will get burned out. However, you may find out that there are certain chores that make a big difference to him, like a clean bathroom might make a bigger difference to him than having a sparling kitchen or something. We are all human and learning, so set up the expectations in a realistic and loving way. Also, continue to push yourself to do your best, a family is a group effort!
Then he needs to clean up after himself. What a loser
Big no
Saying a lot but not getting to the point
Ugh.
