Have loved Rick's music since the 70s when I saw YES three times. So satisfied I saw them play. Carl Palmer, Neil and Bruford and Collins too. Nugent, Allmans, Traffic, Steely Dan and so forth. Qualified to say
Allec ~ Mine too Souza! l'm _trying_ to grow out of it, and get into more Oscar Peterson Jazz ....But this music just _keeps pulling me back!_ l watched the Made in Cuba concert _FOUR TIMES_ last night! That version of Journey..., and Catherine Parr is far and away the best l've ever heard! Those musicians brought Rick's music to the transcendent heights it was supposed to be! lt was like hearing it for the first time! Just EPIC!
Not really anything noteworthy. It's the obvious way to make the transition. He could hardly turn to the right. Keyboard players (well, half-decent keyboard players) are ambidextrous; it goes with the job description. Without wishing to sound patronising, I am guessing that you are not a keyboard player?
brilliant music, the best, but shame about the mixing/sound engineering, though cant grumple at the actual audio quality as after all it was 1980, but no exscuse for bad mixing
Looks like two underneath the Minimoog's. Also looks like the the Biotrons are sitting in a Yamaha CP30. While we are at it 🙂, Prophet 5, Polymoog, Hammond C3, looks like an RMI Computer Keyboard and Yamaha Cp70
Those are not the right size or shape to be Birotrons between the CP30 and the Minis. The Birotrons were large and box-like, with black tolex and silver edging. The keyboards under the Minis look (and sound) like Yamaha SS30s, nice string synth made around 1977 I think. Not overly common because it was overshadowed by the CS family (including the 80 of course). But the SS had a lovely chorus and was quite versatile. He seems to be using them in place of Mello/Birotron strings here.
I think Holt's "singing" is very bad ALL the time - not just when 'live' . . . Young Damian from Areyon who sang on the "Out There" album REALLY does our Rick's melodies and lyrics the vocal justice they deserve.

Honored to have seen him in the Union and ABWR tours - ABWB was especially great... a small riverside park in New Hampshire USA!
Great concert!
That's what works in this world, I'm very happy to hear! Thanks.
👋👋👋
Pure sound, born talent, Moog, emotion and music that leaves us in ecstasy, thank you. Rick Wakeman, you are missed on stage. Hugs.
Amazing Rick's control of those Moog keyboards, no digital crutches to help with the programming, all done live on the spot.
love the analog synths - thank you for uploading!
Insanely fantastic
GENIUS

Thank you so much for posting this classic concert.
Master of the keys. That's pretty much it.
Love how in Merlin he can't quite reach with his right hand when he goes back to the Moog - so he just starts with his left..... at 39:51

This is just a mono track, nothing to mix or engineer
Did rick have his Birotron at this point?

I love Rick, especially with Yes.
This was a no for me.
With all due respect, I think Holt's live singing is very bad.
