Is the Propel 750 replacing the Pro750 ? Asking because they appear similar & both will be model 750, causing some confusion. (Btw, love my Pro750 & A3500).

We are simplifying our product portfolio to help our customers make decisions on which model to buy, and the Propel Series allows us to do so. Think of our Explorian Series as a great starter blender, our Propel Series as the next level up, and our Ascent Series for the home chef who wants all the bells and whistles, along with the ability to use our new attachments.

Great question. We own the 750 Pro & this looks almost identical tbh. Program icons are the only obvious change that we can see here. 7 yrs strong, still kicks ass. The container though will be replaced this yr. Its still blends really well but it does labor more audibly then when it was new. Paid for itself long ago 👍🏼

Yes that is a great question! We do plan on phasing out a few of the classic machines in the near future. This machine is very similar to the Professional 750, with the only difference being the aesthetics!

@@VitamixCorporation how does the propel 750 compare with the legacy machines? It's a shame you're phasing those out, my 5200 kicks ass.

Hi! They are very similar with the main difference being the aesthetics. The Propel 750 offers the convenient features of the Professional 750 with the classic look similar to our original machines. They both have the same sized motor and container to get the blend that you are used to with a Vitamix.

The Propel Series blenders are currently available in the US and Canada only. At this time, we do not have a release date for this item to be available for purchase within the UK. Please know we continuously work to release our newest products into the international marketplace, and encourage you to check back in the future for updates on product availability.

Vitamix may be the best in the eyes of many (and perhaps rightly so, although I don't own a blender), but they'll definitely never win any beauty contests since they're all so incredibly ugly units IMHO.
If Vitamix had an Italian or French designer in to design the blender bodies, I reckon they'd sell like hot cakes (or at least better than they do currently), no matter the units' price. High price, high quality, highly desirable to own too.
As they are now, their over-all appeal (item price, unit design, longevity, performance etc),. they're probably 6/10. It's a pity they're shamefully ugly; they look like they were designed by someone with NO design acumen whatsoever.
If they looked better, I reckon they'd be much more desirable, probably >8/10.
Even if I, with no design expertise (but a very good idea of what looks good) was chosen to design how the units looked, I reckon I could get them to a 7.5/10 or greater level of over-all appeal.

Beauty is in the eye of the end user. There are blenders that are more "stylish" and "attractive" and do not perform well. I have had some of them. Regardless of appearance, I still choose Vitamix. Caveat Emptor.

@@shaunosby5093 No harm AT ALL in having good functionality AND good looks. Vitamix have the former but definitely not much of the latter. I now own a KitchenAid K400 - it works, it's solid and it looks very good (in *my* humble opinion anyway).
