So basically every parameter of any effect blocks can be assigned to an expression pedal or LFO generator like copilot broadcast?? Most of the parameters of wet effects like reverbs delays choruses etc? Right? Thnx
Is there a way to set up an Expression Pedal as a Volume or Wah on the QC so it works "Globally" across all Presets without having to assign it to a Block on each Preset? I can't do that on my HX Stomp, and I'm wondering if that is a limitation of Modelers that don't have a built in Expression Pedal. Thanks
@@johnnathancordy My 20 year old Boss GT-6 has a built in Expression Pedal that works Globally, and can also be assigned to adjust most (all?) Preset parameters. Seems like something Neural and Helix/Line 6 could program in. I suspect the Boss is actually using MIDI. Thanks
Anyone have a Boss EV-30? I cannot get it to recognize it at all. Went to calibrate, nothing. Tried both EXP 1 and 2 on both the pedal and the QC. Will not register anything at all. It's not the cable because touching the end of the cable actually registers on the calibration screen. Have not been able to find any help online. Please!!!! Thanks in advance!!
You've probably figured it out by now, but make sure that your cable is TRS - Two black lines on the metal part, unlike regular instrument cables which have one. This had me really confused as well, because the QC was registering input when touching the cable
@@joccahontas Yep that was it! Thanks for the comment though, maybe it'll help someone else who doesn't know that stuff. I just thought all patch cables were the same!
@@johnnathancordy to be fair I did mange to somehow select the ac20 and a cab and play for awhile. I was changing the gain and eq for 10 minutes only to realize that it was the mic preamp settings not the amp.

Perfect video, just what I was looking for. Thanks a lot and cool playing 🙌🏼☀️
How to get your Tom Morello going on with the QC? Watch this video! Thanks Johnn
Excellent video John. I was just wondering how to do this and hey presto. Here it is. Thank you.
Dude nice this helped me out thanks
Insert enlightened meme. Thank you very much. This was exactly what I needed.
What if my expression pedal dont have toe switch ? Quad cortex can detect position to auto engage/disengage ?
Fookin great stuff

What kind of expression pedal do you use ?
Hey! Does any pedal work or does it has to be neurals expression pedal? Thanks in advance!!

Nothing global nope!

Do you have demoed video showing how to set up WAH ?.... and have a preset uploaded on to Cortex Clouds?
The wah process is pretty much identical to this one but can do!
Just watching this to take a break from wading in the murky waters of the FM3's interface...
Wade away, you'll learn to love it
@@johnnathancordy I can and will hold this statement against you if I don't.
@@john808welk get on the AC20 and just play

Yes FM3 a bit of a pita to set up. The scene changing becomes a tap dance compared to the QC. Sounds great BUT has its limits.
2 mins 10, thank me later.
