There’s something really comforting about folk music. Passed on from person to person, it’s like this amazing artefact of human experience and emotion across the ages.
‘Old Reinlender’ is a traditional Norwegian tune, which was originally meant for dancing. In this modern arrangement by the Danish String Quartet, the song has been re-invented for the stage - we had a ball performing it as part of our Sirocco show with Abel Selaocoe & Chesaba.
