I've always loved the the spongebob Christmas special and this new Halloween special is my new favorite! Stop motion animation is an amazing way of bringing characters to life, it feels more real then regular animation!
I just recently watched this episode on my new Season 11 DVD, and this special is truly amazing because of the stop-motion, just like It's a Spongebob Christmas! Surely, some shots may be a little creepy, but it's what I call a Halloween masterpiece of work the crew at Nick studo made. That's literally my comment I've got here.
The funny part about this whole thing what is whenever we saw Krusty Krab dressed up as the Chum Bucket we're Squidward SpongeBob Patrick and mr. Krabs standing outside it made it look like that the puppets were actually the real characters and SpongeBob and Patrick were just laughing for no reason
So much work and time just for spongebob,

I love this version. Of spongebob the stop motion version just like this and the Christmas version I wish they could make that version all the time
