I just heard a version of this song on a Sebastien Leger dance mix, and was like, I have to find this song. literally tracked it down by replaying the section until I could figure out a unique lyric (“you will know what I fear the end is always near” was what popped the song up 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽)

Came by to say around 2:14 when there is dual vocal that are sort of competing but not really is a unique piece of music :) you never hear dual vocal singing completely different verses and with different energy like that, hard to describe? but it works well imo. have a nice day.

I never used to think Karin was influenced by Bjork but then I heard The Sugarcubes and I'm like yeah.. she was influenced by Bjork lol.
I don't find their voices similar at all. Björk sings horrible in a good way. Karin always hits the "right" notes.

Bjork doesn't have these textures/layers. Karin has so much dimension it's insane.
I agree. Not in a lyrical sense, but in the “almost pop” nature of their music. I’ve listened to latter day Bjork, where everything is more dreamlike and cohesive. Early Bjork and the Sugar Cubes was more driving beat forward, and just off from what an average radio listener would be able to handle.
