🏒 Patrick DesRochers is a standout star in the world of ice hockey! Known for his thrilling time with the Sarnia Sting from 1995 to 1999, he racked up an impressive 63 wins in 143 games, setting multiple franchise records for shutouts and making a significant mark as a goalie. Drafted first by the Sting and later by the Phoenix Coyotes, DesRochers enjoyed an eight-year professional journey, which included a brief NHL stint and triumphs in the AHL and European leagues. 🌍
After hanging up his skates, Patrick returned to Sarnia, diving headfirst into the community and the Sting organization as a goalie coach.
Today, he’s a beloved radio commentator, sharing the mic with the well-known Leigh Cunningham on CHOK radio, keeping his connection to the OHL alive and buzzing!
📻On February 1st, 2025, he will be honored with an induction into the Sarnia Sting Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy in the sport.
