Materials:
1. White Cement buy it here: invol.co/cl13g29
2. Container
3. Oil
4. Water
5. Molds (any container can be utilized but plastic container works best)
Notes:
- Make sure you put enough oil to release pot easily.
- Tap and vibrate to release air bubbles.
- Water bath your pots for a minimum of 7 days to make your concrete pots stronger (Curing).
- When curing place your pots in shaded area and cover it to prevent it from drying too fast and to avoid cracks.
Glad to help!

Please correct me. No hole needed under the pot???
A hole is a must for plant pots..mistake on my part for not drilling holes on it..but I have another video on how I drilled a hole on my pot..thanks..
You don’t need one, it’s really personal preference, by not having a hole the bottom of the plant will always stay moist.
@@kanji2089 Again correct me if I am wrong. Without hole in the pots hold excess water that might be conducive for the growth of damping off and other pathogens and fungi or nematodes aside from the water will prohibit the entrance of air to the roots of the plants. Remember, porosity is important and water will contain the spaces of the soil if not drain. Or maybe I am wrong.
@@rommelmartinez2941 yes that can happen if the plant is over watered, but if the soil isn’t damp then I personally don’t think it will matter
Yes must needed

Just wanted to know(as I'm new to being a plant Parent). For the final product of the plants in these pots, do you place the soil directly into the pot? Or do you place the pot in a mini pot with drainage holes, inside the DIY pots

Awesome tutorial, exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you! Will you please let me know which brand/kind of concrete you used? I love how it dried white instead of the usual grey. I wholeheartedly appreciate that you posted the curing process. Have watched numerous diy videos on how to make concrete planters and yours is the only one I have ever seen that shows these important steps.

Thanks for sharing. Do you think there will be a problem if I were to make one and have it outside in my backyard garden? I’d have to make a pretty big one but I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t withstand rain? Thanks!

Hey there, what white cement did you use? Thanks!
Hi..I used Sakura white cement but I'm not sure if it's available in your area...I'm from Philippines by the way..
Can I use Gray Normal Cement?
Mam can we use poster colour to paint ( please reply)
Do you need to add sand to make it stronger?
I colors you used. What paint did you use? Can you use acrylic?
Yes you can..using acrylic here..
Hi, thanks for sharing this tutorial. Want to try it out.. Had a doubt before proceeding with this.. How do you assess how much of white cement to pour into the mold and how hard to press the inner mould down.. Cause if push the inner mould too hard, won't the base of the pot become too thin. Because there isn't sufficient white cement at the bottom
I think you can add extra cement afterwards to the bottom of the pot if you feel it's too thin.
❤❤❤
