Love the use of Shanghainese but it's painful when the narrator switches to standard mandarin - he sounds like a news reporter. At least do standard mandarin with a regional accent since it fits the setting more. This is like forcing non-English actors to adopt a RP accent in period dramas set in medieval Italy. When the language is incorrect contextually, the preference of one accent over the others is clearly determined by prejudice. A world-class director can certainly do better.
Finally; doesn't look as beautiful as his films, but still.

I don't know what you mean by that. It looks visually stunning. If it's going to be as beautiful as his films as far as plot, feelings and so on... well we can't tell that from a trailer
关于画风问题，看过王家卫作品就不难发现，王家卫的场景和人物塑造侧重的是写意而不是写实，而这里的写意指的是他会突出某个时代、地点的一些特征，故意将其放大来达到一种独特的、似真似幻的氛围。 这种虚实结合就很王家卫，不能单纯用“假”这种浅层视角去理解。
近年来陆剧里以写意手法拍摄的电视剧也不少，最典型的例子是《三体》里的科幻与写实之结合。
看上去不像1992， 比较像1929的上海滩风格哈哈哈，不过不管怎么样，作为上海人，强烈支持一下！！！
你说得是民国风格吧，讲民国的电影电视剧背景差不多都是上海的样子，上海又有很多民国建筑，影视嘛，也需要些许夸张的画面感，你说像也正常。

上海人表示不是我认识的黄河路😂还以为是百老汇，更像隔壁南京东路的先乐施（老上海人懂得懂😂）以前听朗读的繁花感觉和这片子不是一个feel，对老王拍出来的成品有点担心不过从90年后很少有上海话的电视剧了还是支持的！
關掉聲音後 王家衛拍得，說是香港好像也可以……
其实小时候黄河路都是饭店，很热闹的，以前谈生意没地方吃饭，也不是个个都能去和平饭店
片子气质很怪 王家卫成年之前 就离开上海了 他也没经历过8090年代 他靠幻想构建的浪漫和真正身处那个时代的人(比如王安亿 沙叶新)所切身感受到的被现实照进的浪漫 很不一样
也许这就是原著小说要呈现的风格？原著小说作者金宇澄也是电影版的编剧。电视剧改编用了不同的编剧。电影和电视剧是同时间拍的，所以应该是一样的风格
@@noelg66 这也不是原著的风格 我也不认为王的东西不上海 他描绘的上海和我小时候刚从无锡搬到上海的感觉很类似 很抽象很迷乱 但一旦熟悉了那里的环境 就不再有这些感觉了
这应该是王家卫脑子里上海应该有的模样吧，十里洋场的感觉。反正我是当作2，30年代的上海滩来看的。

I'm not really sure about this work from WKW. Maybe he's trying a new style? I'm not a fan of it tho. The casting is perfect. Not fan of the Mandarin they use and specially the cinematography at all.. but too soon to judge to entire movie. Looking forward
they are using shanghainese dialect.
I love most of his works but kind of agree. The cinematography and music just don’t line up for me- and they’re what made his films distinct from the common soap opera themes.
But yes, too soon to judge, I just hope the music and cinematography is better in the final movie, and it has his signature internal monologues.

上海黄河路 90年代是小老板们吃饭谈生意的地方 ，醉的烂在地上的人 擦头司机都知道把他们送到哪里 因为经常接送那几个 面孔都熟了 上海人当时并不流行叫这个总哪个总的 这是北方文化的叫法 90年代初北方文化还不像现在的上海入侵的如此严重 当时还是叫老板 或者叫大户 。我觉得请王家卫导演来导不合适 他是个好导演 但是他太不了解90年代的上海了 以前有个片子叫股疯 那个才是90年代的上海 人人想下海做生意 又怕没了稳定的国企工作 小老板们做事很实际的 很多时候进货 运货 都是小老板自己来的 请人手就是请下岗的工人 也请不了几个

@@ghostland8646 this is WKW pet project for several years. He was born in Shanghai and wanted to turn the novel Blossom Shanghai into a movie with lots of Shanghai dialects. He is the director for the movie version and producer for the C-drama version. Hu Ge is his top pick for the role of male lead
