I worked for Carmine for a long time when I was younger. Jamaica auto salvage is where I worked out of. It was a good place to work. He bought lunch every day!!! His brother Mikey was a real good guy too. I got pinched in 94 & him & deb came and got me released. I wish him the best.

Cleveland is supposedly "Commission territory." Meaning that's there jurisdiction because of the proximity to NYC. So it's unusual to hear it's being propped up by Chicago...is there even an Outfit anymore?

In fact they even considered going to the Outfit for help with Danny Green but decided against because Chicago outfit had a tendency to “stay for dinner” and they didn’t want that. The Midwest and the whole commission was different than with the east coast because ultimately the Chicago Outfit can always tell them to F themselves they didn’t have to listen to the 5 families. Detroit enjoyed independence and wasn’t influenced by either NYC or Chicago and were arguably more influential to the Cleveland family than anyone else.
