TINA IS AMAZING one of if not my favorite winners. She should have been on WAW. I remember watching this the first time when it was live and crying because I was so happy that she did it not only for herself but for Katie.

It makes sense when Laura asked Tina to let her win and Tina refused, this was Tina's way of telling Laura that she wasn't going to give her the win because it was thanks to Laura that Katie was eliminated in the previous Duel. It was like Tina was telling Laura "You cut me from my daughter and I will cut you from your daughter!"
You know if I competed in this Duel i wouldn't've wanted my vase to fall and break, if I'd felt fatigued, I'd catapult the vase in my direction, catch it and keep it as a souvenir!
I got teary eyed during the Mother and daughter talk. It was emotional. I like this challenge, rivalry show. I watched this sjow on Tuesday.

*Balance challenges actually favor females.* With arms down, the female center of gravity is at about the hip joint, males is about mid abdomen (elevated slightly here because of the raised leg). When Tina leaned over to hold her leg, her center of gravity probably moved below her hip bone.

I love both Laura and Tina, but I honestly just laughed when Laura started begging Tina to drop and let her win the second Laura struggles in a Redemption Duel. Yes Tina has won before, but Laura went to Redemption Island twice, returned once, and won every duel other than this one that she ever competed in. Not 2nd place ever. Won them all.
It just made me laugh because finally Laura starts having trouble in a duel, and she begs someone to let her get Final 5, possibly win the last two immunity challenges, and win the whole game since obviously she'd win if she was in F3. Like yes you helped Tina win that one duel, but that was your choice because you thought Tina would be easier to beat in duels later on. Tina didn't ask for help, Laura gave it willingly.
Like come on. It's a game for a million dollars. Your at the final duel, about enter Final 5. Two challenge wins away from Final 3 and a possible win. Nobody in their right mind would ever step down.

Her chances were just as low as Ciera's and Tina's. She would've had to single-handedly win both immunity challenges following this. Or persuaded Monica to flip.

Super late reply but she actually did want her mom to get back in. Before the second re-entry duel Ciera had a confessional saying she really hoped that her mom would get back in the game because Ciera was struggling and needed a close ally.
Laura actually might have won that final immunity, that would have been epic. Laura would have created a huge upset. Too bad Tina went back in. As soon as it was her we all knew Tyson won.

But Ciera was on the bottom of that four and she said in one of her confessionals that she wanted her mom to win
No, she wanted her mom to stay. It's final five at this point and she's on the bottom and the second biggest target no matter who comes back (with the biggest target being whoever comes back).
Having her mom back gives her family *two* shots at a million dollars instead of one! For both the game *and* her life, she wanted her mom to come back into the game (especially because Ciera almost certainly can't win at this point, but if her mom comes back, she's a *huge* individual challenge threat *and* jury threat because most of the jury are *her* former allies in the game, and could *actually* win).
And for anyone saying, "but Ciera voted her out before," let's be clear, her mom was going back to RI *no matter what!* Ciera, who is allies with Tyson, Monica, and Gervase, has two choices at that point. Either, vote against her allies because it's her mom, and risk them thinking she's not trustworthy and getting dumped from the alliance, or get on board with them and their choice to keep her spot in the alliance, as well as solidify herself as someone who will do *anything* for the alliance. The choice was clear (even if tough to make). She and Laura did the best thing for their family at that point (yes, Laura gave Ciera her blessing to let her vote her off) and chose to protect Ciera's position in the game as best they could.
So yes, Ciera was genuinely sad when her mom lost for *both* game *and* life reasons (which were one in the same at that point). At that point, her mom was really the only person who had a shot at their family winning the million dollars. Her mom losing the duel meant her family almost certainly wouldn't win the million dollars.

And Tina isn't even related to Laura why should she Give her place in the finals for some stranger? And yeah, Laura helped Tina earlier, but Tina never asked her for help. Laura helped just because she thought she can win over Tina.
Laura played her game by thinking Tina as a weak competitor and saving her, while Tina played her game and didn't give up her spot.

Tina would of been out of this game in the beginning without Laura's help, she should be grateful, even though this is a game, like Laura is the person that deserves it the most, she was kind to help Tina in the Redemption. Tina didn't even give her daughter the win, jeez, I really don't think she deserves it.

Also, did you not see Tina second guessing about winning the duel during her duel with Katie? Right at the very end of the duel when Tina unlocked all her locks, she stops and asks her daughter if she would let her continue. In conclusion, I don’t really see the logic in your comment.

Philip Keisler I disagree with this. Someone who gets votes off early, comes back from redemption island, wins a series of duels, gets back in the game, and wins final immunity has a great argument of the odds they beat to get to the end.
