Buhle Hanise talks about her passion for accounting

As the country marks National Women’s day, we reflect on the contributions women have made in the struggle for equality. We shift our focus to women in the financial sector. President of the African Women Chartered Accountants Organisation- Buhle Hanise says her passion for accounting was ignited by a visit to her school by Sindi Zilwa. Zilwa had come to give an inspirational talk about her journey to becoming the second black woman to qualify as a CA in South Africa. Hanise, who was in grade 7 at the time, says she knew then that she wanted to become a Chartered Accountant.
She talks about her journey, transformation in the industry and more.
