I keep coming back to listen to these amazing songs, and it makes me so sad to see all the comments about how they have become more "pop", have you heard what is on the radio? You are free to think what you think and say it as well, but I have also been a fan of them for 4 years and listened to their old music; while I do see a change in what they have been producing the lyrics do not lose any meaning, all of the songs they produce have such a great meaning that either help you or depress you haha. I really think that this song and all of the other new ones that have been released so far are truly exceptional. Maybe the beat changed, maybe Kellin doesn't scream or really sound like a girl anymore, but it is still Sleeping With Sirens, the same meaningful lyrics. They have been my favorite band since I started listening to bands, and they are still my favorite band now

This whole song sounds like how the band wants to be themselves and change. "Burn the old empire into ashes" done with the old, time for something new "There's no way im giving in" done with people saying do this do, that. They're saying they're gonna make the kind of music they want to make. I agree that I liked their old sound but that's why it's called OLD sound. They've been a band for 8 years so they're probably ready for a change. They've not only changed as a band but as people.

I think both are awesome, I just think this sounds less poppy? More older SWS is that makes sense.
I just want to say that if everyone pays actual attention, in EVERY single album, Sleeping with Sirens has at least one or two songs that sound reaaaally pop-ish. I'm just saying, it's kind of their style in my opinion and I love it. I loved Legends and I love this amazing artpiece they are pulling off.
I thought it was really dumb of people to assume that Gossip would suck because Legends sounded pop-ish, when, like I said, in every album there's a bit of that.
Even if they do sound a litttle more poppy, that shouldn't matter. They can't keep producing the same sounding music forever. They still sound amazing and if you think otherwise you can leave.

I feel like this is the spiritual successor to Dead Walker Texas Ranger. It seemed to have a lot of Walking Dead references when the show was it's peak, now it's Game of Thrones' turn. Not the biggest fan of their newer style but I'll listen to what I like and let everyone else enjoy what they like. Best part of music!

As a Sleeping With Sirens fan, I'll give my opinion truthfully. This is not the sound I'm used to when it comes to this band, and I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'm the type of person to give the whole album a listen. Who knows, maybe I'll learn to love this song and will become my new favorite off the album. Regardless, it's still a beautiful sound, even if it's not what I'd hoped for in the new album.
