I have only gone and bought my first bit of battery equipment. Is this the start of a new journey. The Stihl HSA 26. Let me know, is battery equipment the way forward.

Happy New Year.
Remember, when the green gold is growing, keep mowing.
All the best.

It’s a good feeling when you realise the tool you are using is totally perfect for the job In hand. Quality tool

It’s so cute haha but has its purpose 🙏👍👋
It’s light and handy. Yes it has its place. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Class bit of equipment rob 👍
Cheers Edward. A bit of fun. All the best.
Good review Rob. I like both battery and petrol options.
Thanks Carl. You do have some great kit. 👍🏻
neat and nifty!
Thanks Tony. All the best to you.
Good to see you have given battery products a go, petrol tools will always a place though for the foreseeable future anyway. 👍
Great point! Just a toy really. All the best.
that's a lovely cut that mate, ive made a note of it.cheers matey.
Thanks David. Appreciate your comment.
It has its uses Rob,I’ve used it to edge lawns when there’s a danger of kicking a stone into glass ( liked it so much I bought the rotary edger to fit the kombi ) Also it’s very easy to sharpen the blades 👍
looks great. I use a couple of old bed sheets to catch the cuttings
Thanks Simon. All the best.
nice bit a kit rob
Cheers Gary. It’s ok. Used in the right circumstances. All the best to you and thanks for watching.
Hi Rob, another good video.
I brought the stihl handheld battery blower last year. For the mow, blow and go jobs it's brilliant, press a button and off you go, you can feather the throttle on it as well.
Saves so much time over the day without having to choke and pull over the petrol one.
Don't be put off by the run time as for these jobs there is more than enough I the battery to last the day.
Quite and lightweight, so impressed with it.
Thanks James, it’s something that I am looking into. All the best.
Tidy Job Rob
Cheers Ronnie. All the best and thanks for watching.
Like any tool it's only as good as the operator. You've got that cracked Rob. A Stirling job. Great quality 👌
Thank you , extremely kind. All the best.
That'll be you hooked on the batteries now Rob! 😁
I do like battery equipment, it’s the price that puts me off. All the best.
That would have been ideal for when I used to work at the garden centre trimming all the topiary buxus every month.
Long term battery is the way to go doing it gradually as your petrol stuff wears out.
Wise words, thank you Phil.
It's done a grand job as that tool Rob
Thanks Wayne, that’s very kind of you. All the best.
It's my pleasure as always Rob
i have the Ryobi one and i like it can put battereies on it from 1.5 to 6 amp depending how long you want to run it the ryobi is bit more chunkier than the stihl
I have never seen the Ryobi, pleased your happy with it. All the best.
I've got the Bosch isio bit smaller but handy around walls / window frames where the dreaded phone / sky wires hide.
Your right James. All the best for the season.
Hi Rob ,bought one ,got rid quickly did not like ,all the the best
Thanks Gregg. Appreciate your comment. All the best.
I use petrol for my mower, strimmer and backpack blower. Battery for hedge trimmer, long reach hedge trimmer and chainsaw. Happy with my choices so far
Sounds great. All the best.
Love the vids Rob! Let me knownif you need any advise seo/marketing wise would love to give some free advice... I do owe you for keeping me entertained after all
Thank you for that, very kind.
Hi
I went battery on long reach hedge trimmer.I went for the stihl hla 56,which is the domestic model ,as I may only use it once or twice a week.Started off fine, then after a few months it started whining.I opened it up,and the cam had shed half of its teeth.Mostly plastic inside.Thinking of the next one up,with the ap battery system.Im just worried about the gearbox being the same.
All the best
Ian
Beaumont lawns and gardens
Thanks Ian.
Your right about petrol being tough as old boots. All the best.
Perfect for buxus as you say
Thanks Shaun. All the best to you.
Got one a few years ago rob there ok but there only good for small jobs 😉
Your so right Clint. Thanks for watching and your comment.
I've got the Stihl GTA26 which is the little Chainsaw pruner. Comes in the same type of case thing and uses the same battery. As you say. It's a nice to have, not a must have. Although I've used it more than I thought I would when I got it. I'd definitely consider a battery strimmer if you where thinking going down the battery route further. I've got an EGO and absolutely 100% wouldn't be without it.
Also have a gta chain saw , two batteries , used loads 👌🏻
Thanks Gary, appreciate your comment. I am a Stihl man. Looking at the battery combi tool. I can use all the attachments with it. All the best.
Viburnum opulus or gender rose is Latin for the snowball tree and yes it is lovely 😍 😊
Thank you .👍🏻
There good units mate, in fairness a use battery even on me full size hedge trimmers now, less vibration etc. Won't go battery with anything else though can't justify it 👍
It is very expensive. All the best to you and thanks for watching.👍🏻
Rob just use an old bed sheet or decorate sheet I don’t like tarpaulins
Cheers Robert. Won’t they get wet? All the best.
Get yourself a sthil battery power leaf blower, or leaf vacuum, its a game changer.
Thanks for watching and your comment. Why is it a game changer?
Full set of new electric gear for next season Rob? 😂 look forward to the reviews.
It’s too expensive, a nice to have. Let’s see how things go. All the best.
It's a start mate, but for that money you might as well bought another make of battery trimmer, for little jobs like that. Some makes are just as good and cheaper in price. I've got a couple of small battery trimmers for small quick light hedges, a bosch hedge trimmer and GTech long trimmer. Quick light weight, don't see the point of starting up a petrol engine for quick light weight trimming. I use them for cutting back flower beds as well. But of course the petrol tools for heavy duty.
Sounds like a great plan. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Watch the fingers on the free hand with the single handed tools. There’s a great channel Calvin Thomas. He hasn’t upload much this past free years but one of his best videos is showing how to sharpen clippers and he has a top tip for lubricant for clippers. I think battery is going to change in the next few years a lot. Sodium ion couod be the next big thing. Tidy job there two
Thank you Marcus. Appreciate your comment. All the best.
If you're pleased with that you'll love the tidy stuff😂
What’s the tidy stuff?
@@maxwellsgrasscuttingservices just something a bit bigger 😅 they do seem popular those shrub shears tho👍
Thanks
Hi great buy is this ok for a hedge looks good x
I don’t think it would do a sizeable hedge, just for shrubs etc. Thanks for watching and your comment.
If you get a tarpaulin and its a plastic one, burn rather than cut it for the opening because it seals the strands.
Wise words. Thank you. I will do that. All the best.
You can't beat 2 stroke. Have used both petrol and electric extensively and good quality two stroke machines are just far, far superior. Not to say it does not have its place but needs lots more development on most items. Even the guy who i buy it from and is very reputable agrees with that.
Thanks Marius. I do like the stihl battery equipment. It’s so expensive. All the best.
I would get one rob but you know what it's like up north the piss pulling off the other gardeners would be never ending m8 if I'm up boldon I might get away with it
I like your crack Rob. All the best to you.
Everyone to there own not for me Rob. Looks more for the wife 😆😆
Your not wrong Simon. 👍🏻
Try the mini chainsaw Rob that’s quality to great video
Thanks Mark. I will have a look. All the best to you.
Personally I don’t think the electric tool avenue of garden machinery is as evolved yet to be useful for the commercial world . Guaranteed they could be useful for domestic use but its just not there yet to meet the standards for commercial use . Petrol/2-stroke is just better .
It really has nowadays
Worked both, a lot, and absolutely agree.
I am told the battery equipment is going in the right direction. It’s expensive though.
Wouldn’t you have battery equipment Marcus?
@@maxwellsgrasscuttingservices it is indeed going in the right direction but I don’t think it’s worth investing in the machinery just yet . Battery life just isn’t there especially if you got 8/10 garden per day . Furthermore, I don’t think it’s appealing to medium to large size Garden Maintenance businesses
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.no no no.Engines all the way.power and noise.all the way
Thanks Andrew. All the best to you.
Gunna have to unsubscribe soon mate your costing me too much money 🤣🤣🤣🤣 already bought a stihl mower and leaf grabbers , and now gone and bought these lol
I understand your pain. All the best and thanks for watching.👍🏻
