Coach Hyun was famous in variety shows before becoming a Coach and being a part of Boss In The Mirror. Check out his appearance in Infinite Challenge, Battle Trip, Law of the Jungle, One Night Food Trip, Happy Together, Cool Kiz and many more. He appeared less in variety shows when he became a coach. And he left BITM last November when KBL 2019-2020 started. 🙂

Wow, I'm so early that it makes me sad that I can't see other people's opinions on the episode :(. But my thoughts are that he really should open up a restaurant or something along with that. He really is a gifted individual.
I want Coach Hyun to be happy whether he’ll pursue basketball again or have a different goal. ❤️ Coach’s heart belongs to the court and he built his life around it. It must’ve been heartbreaking for him to retire early when he was still a player and now he left his post because he blamed himself for the team’s poor performance. I think his frustrated and disappointed with his coaching because he set a high goal for himself since last 2018-19 KBL season, LG Sakers ended up in third place. So his goal for this 2019-20 season, he was probably aiming for the second or first spot. Unfortunately, the team is on the 9th spot out of 10. You can really blame the coach since their ace player Jongkyu left.

yeah.. i heard in his one interview that due to his injury he has to retire early and after that he doesnt want to touch the ball because he thinks that he will have that urge to play and his injury wouldnot let that happen also i think lg sakers should have let him stay evn if contract is over because you can see his passion in basketball 😊
When he signed with LG Sakers as their head coach, he has a three year contract that started in 2017 and will end this 2020. LG Sakers offered to renew him since the team immensely improved after one year of handling them (the team ended up in the third spot out of 10 in KBL 2018-19 season). 👏👏 It’s just the team placed 9th spot this 2019-20 season considering their ace player Jungkyo left and the season ended early due to Covid-19. 😞 Hence, LG still wanted Coach Hyun to be the head coach of the Sakers. Although it didn’t pushed through since Coach Hyun rejected the renewal of his contract. 😞

UA-cam User As i start only to watch coach Hyun in BITM and i became a fan of him and the LG Sakers team,stop watching when he is not there anymore., as he very funny and entertaining to watch, i watch him also in variety show with Haha and the other baskelball player, its in battle trip to japan.aside from the law of the jungle and one night food trip in vietnam i think.

Has people never eaten raw beef before? It’s a Korean dish and I also know Italians can eat their beef raw too. Obviously it has to be fresh. It’s nice!

the anti parasitic drug comment got to me. always so surprised to see him eat raw meat and not have any foodborne illness from it yet.
It depends on how you clean the meat and what meat it is (raw beef is safer than raw chicken, for example). It is not uncommon to see people eat raw beef in Korea because the restaurants they eat it at usually prepares the meat well so that the person wouldn’t get any illnesses. But there is still a chance that someone could get an illness.
Some meat are cured. And if the the meat is AA or AAA then it’s safe.

Also, I think Mrs Shim looks at Ahn Jung Hwan as kind of like a son-in-law, while she looks at Coach Hyun like a son haha. She's gonna keep feeding him until his mind starts thinking he likes those veggies haha. Maybe coach should make a cattle farm instead? Also, even though that slab of beef came from the freezer after butchering... I still don't think he should risk it by eating it raw. We never know what old and new diseases can slip through in the future...

they only use a high quality beef for tartar so it should be safe to eat. of course there’s a small chance of getting sick but that comes with eating any type of raw food

He resigned (his 3 year contract was up too) as coach for LG Sakers in April this year so technically he isn't a "boss" anymore. However, I think to keep him on the show as a panel, they are trying to engage him with other cast members and potentially help start a new career for him (opening up a restaurant) since he's unemployed.

they eat a special grade of meat that can be eaten raw, of course there’s still a small possibility of getting sick but it should generally be pretty safe
