great video! thank you. I'm interested in starting to play flute and also want to play Indian with my yoga sangha group. I've read G bass or G# is a great way to go. I have small hands and fingers. Does Rising Moon have something that would work for me or should I buy an Indian specific flute? thanks much.
Hello there! I suggest anywhere from a mid A to a mid F# flute for starters. Rising moon makes amazing flutes! Tell them I sent ya! I also give online lessons. Go over to www.tommygravenmusic.com 😀
Thank you for the video. I have a handful of very low flutes - the lowest is Eb3, which is low enough for me! had some difficulty playing them initially due to inexperience, but with more experience it's now (most of the time) easy. It can be done! I have average-sized hands. What is the lowest flute in your collection?
I have a low F from Singing Tree Flutes. I don’t have much trouble playing it due to my bigger hands and long finger though. I would love some more sub bass flutes!
Thankyou for the video. What do think of making the first hole (lowest tone) of centred for easier playability. Is this with a lower key, like low D or low C etc. always the best option?
Great video. Gives one more confidence of trying a lower Flute thank you.
You are welcome!! 😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️

Do you mean making the lowest hole offset? If so, I’ve seen that work really well for people. 😀
