That‘s an iconic scene! You‘re right, 12 is a badass rocker, too. You could say 9 looks more like a rocker with that leather jacket, but it‘s true, when it comes to actual behaviour it doesn‘t get more rock‘n‘roll than 12!

@@BornaMatosic Haha me neither! But many covers do skip some parts, not just on Majestic Tale but in general.
For example the last segment of I am the Doctor is almost nonexistent in fancovers (and in the show as well, you only hear 2 seconds of it in "A Good Man Goes to War")
I love your covers because you actually do the whole track from start to finish and you even add more.
I think even if there are unpopular this version makes them something people cannot ignore. It works here. Others were just to scared to try. But Matosic did and succeeded. I like the full. The slower parts build up the final thrum at the end.
When you stay at home all day but save the world at the same time.

The Matt Smith run really was peak Murray Gold. 9,10 and 12 were all great, but this cover is just absolute perfection of the best era of doctor who music.

Favorite use of this song was definitely "The TARDIS knows whwre we're going, she doesn't like it!" I loved the fact not only did 11 have to fight himself to go to Trenzalore he had to fight the TARDIS
I Am The Doctor is kinda overused in the fandom, so I’m glad you picked the version of the song I prefer. Madman With A Box is so much more climatic and epic.
Definitely more epic! I Am The Doctor is much more.. quirky and fun! I like them both and will probably end up doing my version of I Am The Doctor, too, sometime! But first: The Long Song! ;-)

Loving this trilogy so far! This is such a simple yet epic track. It shows how great Murray is that he can take a simple repeating melody and 4 or 5 chords and create 4 and half minutes of concentrated awesomeness. I can't wait for your "The Long Song" cover.

Right? It’s a Schecter. I chose it based on feel and features, but it does look badass! I also have a classic black/white Fender strat, but that one doesn‘t look as good on video so you‘ll mostly see me with the Schecter.

The techniques I used for this video were a continuation of what I learned during the making of the Shepherd‘s Boy video. I wasn‘t sure I could pull this off in time for the release, but it somehow worked out! 😂

When I made this video I had been playing for 15 years. But it‘s not a hard song to play, I‘d say if you practice enough 6 months to 1 year would be enough to be able to play this.
I used my electric guitar. Bass guitar is bigger and sounds much lower. The electric guitar is used for rhythm and melody, while the bass guitar only plays rhythm and plays the lowest notes in a band. ☺️👍
