I thought you'd like a look at this all original 1974 Dodge D200 pickup. This truck has been extremely well-maintained and still features it's original paint, interior, and drivetrain. The owner says it has only been in the rain 6 times since new. It has to be one of the nicest of it's type left out there. It's powered by a 318 V8, backed by a 727 Torqueflite automatic, and a set of 4:10 rear gears. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for taking a look!

My Dad had one of these 74's when I was a teenager. Man I gave that truck hell and it never disappointed. It was a work truck that we used to pull our tractor and equipment on and it was the best truck for that job that we ever had. I now have a 1985 D150 with 26k original miles on it and It's like new inside and out and I absolutely love the thing.
uuugh...I wish I could buy it and immediately pluck that ridiculous hood ornament and Ram badge from the steering wheel.
Very beautiful truck! Would've love to own it!
Thats how i'm takin' care of my truck! Now that guy that owned this truck has good old fashioned sense.
Yep, he really took care of this one. Thanks for having a look!
Nice truck. A buddy of mine, his dad had one same color that we rode around in. Brings back fond memories. Did you do a video on the blue 69 Impala convertible next to it? I think that's what it looked like.
My grandfather had one when my dad was young. In the 70s. One day here in Sweden they were driving when a dodge muscle car passed them and my dad and his brother said to grandfather to step on the gas. He did and they drove quite fast and they ended up blowing the engine witch was a 318. They got home by a tow truck and he bought another one and took the engine from it and scrapped the one
thats one nice looking Dodge truck thanks for sharing
Glad you like it. Thanks for checking it out!
$13,000 WOW, I've been trying to sell a 1975 d200 camper special just like this truck, with a 360 with a/c, 70,000 or so original milesand last time I listed it at $1000.00 and no takers with 800.00 worth of tires on it. its not as nice as this one but its still pretty mint
Do you have a rough idea what the max towing weight is on that truck?
Do you still have your vehicle that your wanting to sell?
awesome looking truck, my dad had one for a work truck in the 90s... it also had a backwards 5 speed.... yes 1st was in Reverse spot... someone put it in weird.
Nice one.👍👍😁
Very, very nice. I love it!!
It's has to be one of the nicest left out there. Thanks for watching!
In 2014 I found one of these from -79 -D 200 as a FARGO Custom Truck from the først owner always in heated garage with original 18k miles in original untouched condition. Never a rip or tear.Showroom new.The car has the legendary slant six with automatic. Not a race car, but has torch enough and I use it just in the summer time. I have not seen another for sale anywhere since I bought this. Must be very rare ? Maybe I put it on You Tube one day for people to see it. Car is in Norway
That's a nice truck, I got a 73D200 4WD camper special sitting in my yard for sale at 2800, not as nice but still a cool truck. I'm getting ready to do a timing chain on it and got sidetracked watching utube....
It would be a nce one to have Very nice original truck
They're definitely hard to find in this kind of condition. Thanks for checking it out!
It's very nice
That's incredible!! Some Kid will probably buy it and shit it all up eh!!☺
I know...hopefully it goes to a good home.
I may be only 20 years old, but I'd love a survivor vehicle. Piece of rolling history, wouldn't change a thing. Just keep it as original as possible.
Hi I had a 73 and a 74 dodge truck.Whats neat about the glove box is dodge is about the only truck maker that put the fuse box in a convienant place!!! Those trucks are very nice looking trucks.I agree not many in that condition left and the rest are in pieces sadly !!
It definitely is getting harder to find them in this sort of condition. It's cool that you used to have a couple of them. Thanks for taking a look at this one!
Thank you for making this video cause without you doing that we lovers of the old trucks would not get to see them.!!!!
When is the TA update coming?
sure like that
Glad you like it. Thanks for having a look!
I should do that with my moms 2013 just clean it up and lock it up in the garage to preserve it.
How much?
👍🏻💯%🇦🇺
my 74 dodge had gas tank behind the seat 75 had it under the bed
Actually, 1974 was the first year Dodge put the gas tank under the bed. My first vehicle was a 1974 Dodge D-100.
I purchased a new one [demo] in1974 with 700 miles on it . It was two tone green with the 318 v8 engine. I had it for 9 years . I sold it to a a friend with 94,000 miles on it . It ran like a top and never ever needed a brake job which can't understand. It was the only pickup i've ever owned .I am 73 now.
Doesn't change the fact it is a VERY nice truck, BUT-that steering wheel/badge does NOT look original.
The hood ornament does not belong either.
A truck from a time when trucks were trucks. You could go anywhere with one of these machines: off-road, on-road, fording through streams and carry loads of tools of your trade. There aren't many trucks like that these days.
Cool video and even cooler truck. Thanks for posting and sharing!!
Amen to that. This was back when trucks were built for everything; anything for work during the weekdays, and family on week ends. Trucks like this are what got you work through the week, and to church on Sundays. And the thing about these old trucks is that you could take them apart and put them back together yourself, and you had fun doing it. Regardless of the make, old trucks like these are a piece of automotive history, an era long past. They deserve to be preserved like this beautiful Dodge here.
Shouldn't have stuck that damn ram badge on steering wheel it's a dodge not a ram!!
12,000 dollars if i could i would by that sucker and drive it all the time.a 318 will run forever and ever.
Very nice, I have an 87 D150... 318... great truck. All the kids want to buy it... lol
Watched this video numerous times still wishing the old gal was setting in my driveway, it was built when a truck was a truck, not a soccer mom vehicle.
EMERGENCY ! with John Gage and Roy DeSoto
Holy crap I’m watching that right now. 😂
Sou do Brasil, estou acompanhando o canal, gosto muito desses modelos de picapes antigas. São muito bonitas. Lenbra muito quando eu era criança. ( Teresina ‐ Piauí ‐ Brasil).
I had a '73 D100 identical to this one & mine had a strong cold A/C. My '73 had the inside gas tank. It had a leaking gasket around the tank float hole. Me & my Buds still smoked in it.
Nice Dodge. I am so glad that pick ups are starting to be appreciated by the vintage market/ collectors. Thank for posting this one.
Glad you like it. You're right, classic trucks are starting to be very collectible. Thanks for having a look!
Awesome truck! Nothing like a 70's model dodge truck. Mine is finally getting the transmission overhauled. Won't be long till I'm crushing it again.
When you said "numbers matching 318" what did you mean? Do the numbers on the engine block match other numbers on the truck so you know for sure that is the original, factory installed engine and not a replacement?
Do you know where can i get original parts for a Dodge ‘72?, I’m looking for logos, rear bumper and interior stuff like window crank handles
I learned to drive on one of these when I was 12. LOL Then I learned stick on a Datsun 510 wagon 4 speed.
for damn near 40 years old that thing is crazy mint. that guy was have really loved 74 dodge trucks. keep an eye out for any chevy camper specials!
He definitely took great care of it. Can't be many out there like this one. Thanks for watching my friend!
very sweet lookin truck. im digin the paint scheme
It's a really nice example for sure. Thanks for watching!
Would love to own it. Hood ornaments and all. Nice ride.
Good job on your videos, I love the old Dodge trucks. 1993 back we're awesome classics. And the truck to beat.
Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
RamblinAround Yes sir.
Luke Bowlin i love the older truck's much nicer i have a 1990dodge D150 love it just wish that i can find the parts for it very hard to find easier to find parts for older and newer dodge pick ups like body mount bushings.
Nice old Dodge
Thanks for checking it out!
Thats what I would call a 3/4 ton truck heavy duty wheels on it.2 things i hate to say about dodge trucks of that model was 1 the metal the bed is made of dodge just made it too very thin it rust out easily and the other is the frame where the power steering box is mounted were bad about cracking and braking .The frist truck i owned i had to buy a piece of frame and have it welded in to fix that. Not all the trucks did that but it was a common trouble fixable too.Dodge put to much carbon in the steel the frame was made of made them too hard brakeable but a great truck anyway !!
I have the same exact truck except it's a 76 Sweet.
Awsome beautyfull chevy color absolutly stunning motor powerfull and big it looks like a brand New car i love 🤟 this truck and the fu man chu covair next to ✌️ it thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy it always
Nice I just pulled one of the these out of a farmers field for 150 bucks the only real difference is that mines a custom instead of an adventurer and mine has a 360 but this ones way nicer haha
that had to have been kept in a inside garage its whole life because it is so nice.
It really is in amazing condition for it's age. Thanks for having a look at it!
Sweet looking truck. I've always liked original survivors. I've seen plenty of these trucks when I was a boy.
I got a 1973 dodge club cab custom 3/4 ton all original with a 400 big block ci she still runs and drives but not as shiny as this truck shes got her rust spots on the edge of the fenders but still a great truck
I had a 1976 version, wich had a bigblock in it, army truck. I still miss her....
Hermosa fuerte elegante imponente esas son las RAM las mejores camionetas del MUNDO
Wow simply Gorgeous
Boy o 74 dodge is new
Oh my God that truck is beautiful I'm literally drooling over it
Someone added those ram horns on steering wheel and ruined it there was no ram in 1974
Presio de
Los 70s muy buena troca felicidades esta lindísima
I have a d-100 of the same year but it is a step side. It was was not kept original . The wheels and tires have been upgraded and dual pipes. 318 engine but with upgraded hoses carb and valve covers. Oak bed new enterior and cd player. Cherry red paint and a bed cover. About 12k put into it between me and original owner. I only use it to pull my fishing boat a few times in the summer. And I always have people wanting to look at it.Unfortunately someone bent the drivers side door trying to break in with a crowbar.
I feel bad for you man. damn fucking peoplr
i can do 800.oo
miss my 74
I have one that is a club cab AC, p.b.,p.s., and has c.c.
Beautiful old Dodge! Sounds like it needs ran down the highway to blow the cobwebs out!
It really does need to get out and run. It has been sitting around too much lately. Thanks for taking a look!
My truck has the exact same paint
barn found one last year but its the adventurer se pw100 with a 426rb
either your d200 is restored or the PO customized the hell out of your d200
These are all over nor cal.
quality is this truck
looks like my 83 d 150
I have the same truck
Nice old truck
Rip ears
Friggin awesome. I love the old Dodge trucks, but I just don't understand why they used so few big blocks. I'm guessing that was a big reason in their bad sales compared to Ford, and GM. I couldn't imagine pulling a camper with a 318.
Yeah, this thing would be sweet with a 440 in there. There can't be too many left out there with original paint. Thanks for taking a look.
Mopars ratio of units sold-vs-number of big blocks is pretty similar to GM numbers. Fords about the only truck builder that really sold the crap out of big block trucks. Mopar didn't sell many trucks period. Their truck market gravitated to what Ford/GM didn't build. Ultra heavy duty 4x4 trucks. It took those two awhile before they started building 4x4s in house.

Even the 360 would have been better than the 318. Good motor for light duty jobs, but definitely would have been underpowered for towing.
The 318 is more than enough power to pull a camper. My Grandpa had a ext cab 78 with a 318 and it pulled anything and everything
MidnightPolaris800 LOL!
Nice truck and vid as useall Jeff !
Thanks for watching Jos!
they sold it
★★★★★
Nice
I'm 14 I just got one of those.
I am 21 and just bought mine. But my needs to be refurbish.
There's an club cab in my town with a 4-speed and a 360 cid, I love this Dodge 3/4 ton pickup
someone treated it awful nice.
It has to be one of the nicest one's still running around.
